Publicis Ocean/Crestor Reps

What are most of you experiencing in your respective territories? Are your Publicis Crestor reps actually selling or just dropping off samples. I know that most of them are very experienced reps who were laid off from other companies. Are the here to replace us? Serious feedback is appreciated. 500 of them have been hired nationally.

Dumb post. Do your own job. Are they selling? Or just sampling? Grow up. These Ocean Publicis reps, over all have more experience than us, are paid way less and are happy to have a job. Look over your own damn shoulder

Many of the OCEAN reps are successful sales reps with years of experience and were caught upin downsizings. No one is safe in the industry today. AZ reps should be glad to have them promoting Crestor. They are a very mature and professional group.

To the above post, I'm sure that is true. However, the issue is that the "Ocean" reps are a tremendous misallocation of money and yes, probably our replacement as their contract is 1 year. Most of these tiny microterritories that AZ has doesn't need another (third) Crestor rep. Especially in parts of the country where Crestor use is almost entirely based on managed care and step-edits and access is marginal. Give the current reps their samples and access dollars. Besides, their call list is not "physicians the PSSs are currently not calling on". They are overlaps. They shut us out and the stupidity of back to back lunches is ridiculous. But we are really all working as contract reps now, aren't we?

Twice as much? Really? Some Oceam reps making 65,000 plus 6,000 car allowance and bonus TBA. Is your base really 130,000+? No wonder AZ is ready to unload.

Seriously, those reps at publicis have tons of experience and are only getting paid $60-65,000 a year to do the same job you are doing. You all are getting a great group of reps to help you sell Crestor and they just want to make a living. We are all human, why do people have it out for contract reps??

Most of us don't have it out for contract reps. What we are tired of is AZ's sneaky approach to messing with us as a salesforce. We hire 500 contract reps and turn around a couple months later and layoff a thousand. That is what our issue is and unfortunately some of us have taken it out on you. It is not all based on money either (many argue this point). For example three out of six of us direct reps make between $58,000-65,000. We are all coming to the end of this gig and it is unfortunate for some of us and welcomed by others!
