Provigil- any coupons available?

As a Cephalon Area Manager, it is frightening & disappointing to think that there may be reps on Cafe who are giving dosing/indication advice. !! More than a policy violation, it is dangerous. For all patients, this is NOT the place to receive medical insight. Ask your doctor. Representatives risk careers and indictable offenses by discussing this info directly to patients.

I would just like to comment that I as well have sleep apnea AND shift work sleep disorder (paramedic on night shift). My doctor has had me on Provigil now for about two years and it has changed my life. Unfortunately, my health insurance changed policies and now I get only a slight discount on this pharmaceutical. I had another medication I had been taking and the online pharmacy switched manufacturers - I had a very bad reaction to the new formula- maybe not the actual drug, but with the time release compound which was altered slightly in combination with the medication. I had to petition for benefits to have them switch me back to the original med. This worries me with Nuvigil.
If the patent and trademark office issues a patent there is a clause for new patents that states "if an item to be patented can reasonably be demonstrated or created based on prior art (Provigil) the item to be patented is not new-" and the USPTO will not issue a new patent. So I dont see how Nuvigil could be patented unless they add it to the original patent- (sorry Im on a tangent)
I dont understand how Provigil could not now be considered a generic if the timeline has run out on priority rights.
Why not give clients coupons? It is only going to make US citizens look to purchase their medications outside the US even if it IS ILLEGAL. If you need your medication- you need it! So, Cephelon Area Manager, how about it? Wouldnt it be OK to issue a few Provigil coupons now- or a class action Nuvigil lawsuit later? We all know that the isomer recombination is just a technicality that hasnt been fully tested- it just passes on paper.
Im not being aggressive here- I am just expressing a very honest concern that I have seen happen before with certain medications.
So why not help all of us Provigil people before we fall asleep at the wheel...
Someone who cares.

Some of you already have had sleep studies done. I was told that was the only thing my ins. would recognize Provigil for. I am currently paying over $20. per pill which I have to break in quarters. The savings will pay for the study in just a few months.

People such as yourself continuously use any type of postings to express your ill equipped opinion of this county and/or the persons in power at that time. Read a book, read the law, the government is trying to lower rates on medications - it has no power of which to speak at this moment. Do not sound like a bubbling idiot, which you do.
