You mean like the poster above who wrote “take your meds r*****”? Sounds like someone from the 3rd grade. He/she is most likely one of those “next generation” gifted sales reps you’re talking about.
 












you can swap out as many people for young or old at this company...truth is, it won’t matter. The product has little demand and staying power in the office. It’s already reaching its “shelf life”. If this company wants to survive, it doesn’t need new people, it needs a new product. There is no one special out there that’s going to have the magic words or magic way that will all of a sudden will make everyone start to use Iluvien. Just not going to happen. Sorry.

Finally, someone who gets it! Doesn’t matter if you’re young or old. A good product is a must. Doctors care about what your product can do for their patients. They don’t care how old the person is presenting it to them as long as they are informed, can articulate product attributes, don’t bother them with stupid information they don’t care about and don’t waste their time with an inferior product that costs too much. The last company I was with a 65 year old won VP Award two years in a row! So there!
 






As you approach 50 you should really change spending habits and begin to focus on retirement funds. Every person in this age group is vulnerable to become unemployed.
When working you feel as though your career will never end... especially if you are performing. As we know now this is not true.
Be prepared... the best revenge is living well.
 






If you are 50 and still a drug rep that is just plain sad.
You should have made it to DM or gone into real estate with the rest of the soccer moms.

This business is for hot young babes who flirt with the doctors to get Rx. Watch how those indian and asian doctors react when they see a tall young blond with a short skirt.

Get the realtor license and just chill...

My wife and I are in our 50s and are both “just reps”. We have a net worth around $4 Million and we’re not done yet!
 






Yep...I see the two of you standing in front of some cheesy backdrop, perhaps both wearing earth tone cardigan sweaters with her 80s style haircut standing in front of you taking your “team realator” photo! Yep...I see it now.

Over 50 means Experienced, Mature, Years of Decision Making and Aptitude, Able to use past successes and failures to accomplish tasks. Only in pharma will you ever see such juvenile responses as the one above.

This has nothing to do with President Trump or being liberal or conservative. It has to do with being a decent moral person. I am more on the conservative side and I’m the one who called the poster a fucken POS. There is no room in this world for ageist racists or anything else that discriminates against others.
