Predict The Future

Thinking of making a change and coming on board. Would be great to hear from some of the current reps in the field, elaborating on the company’s current culture? Have been in a speciality role for 6.5 years with what was once a great/good company that motivated and rewarded their sales force handsomely, to what is now a top heavy, micromanaged, poorly run company due to being sold, and the new owners making very poor new senior leadership choices who are slowly now rapidly driving the company in the ground. Taking the money that should be paid to reps for the bonus plan, and hiring more of their reject friends, keeping the company way to top heavy. Not looking to jump on the same type of boat! Is the environment to grow or be threatened or worse put on a PIP? What’s it really like there?!

Curious really, how many of the 100-120 reps made 100% budget/plan? Most importantly, when you finish at 100%, not hitting accelerators, what’s the average quarterly payout?

Depends on your Region or Area. Here in the West our Area Director has all the managers living in fear. And that rolls down hill. Talking to my friends out East it doesn’t appear that bad. There are no accelerators and actually making goal isn’t often done. Goals are all over the board but they are better than they used to be. There certainly aren’t any accelerators. You will be underpaid compared to your counterparts at other companies but our CEO just said they are doubling down on the division so that’s good for job security I guess. This job is the Chevy of Specialty gigs. But I get a lot of time to enjoy hiking mountain biking etc so I’m pretty happy.
