Teva already has a dedicated sales force for CNS. Why would they waste their money on Ceph reps when they can cross train and sell the hell out of Provigil generic. Many of their reps are very familiar with Provigil due to MS and fatigue. Admit it - not rocket science to sell Provigil. They will likely keep 150 or less and they will have those positions in high potential/volume territories. You better look at your script volume and that would be a good indicator. If you are a DM - bend over and have your resume ready.

Actually, you missed the intent of the post (not surprising since you stated you still have a manager - instead of being one). Logic, the current economy, and health care reform dictate that a corporation will trim fat where necessary. A bloated sales force is unjustifiable if you can't produce a revenue stream that will please your board and management. Teva is not buying Cephalon because they want to waste money. Just use common sense. I know it is hard to believe, but managers also post to this site. Now- go back to eating your Captain Crunch and we will let you know when this is all over.
