Pfizer and Allergan joining hands, how many layoffs are in the cards?

<

I have been told
By a very strong source that there were many PIPs handed out on the legacy Actavis and Forest
Sides the first week in January. These were 60 day PIPs, so March 1st would make sense for those individuals as well as possibly others. I personally think the others will come a bit later as they want us all
Out there working hard to line their pocketbooks.

Initially I don't think there will me many layoffs that would look bad for the mega merger. However, I expect we will have to wait by the phone around Christmas every year for the next 3-5 years. That's the Pfizer way.
Either way I won't be here. And anyone who thinks they are safe based upon the division they are in is delusional. They will move people wherever they want to. Get off your high horse this is not rocket science!

You guys need to wake up. Doesn't anyone know the term "synchronicity" when it comes to mergers? We don't need duplicity and when it comes to the ultimate decision making, Big Blue still holds the reins.
Brett has lost control and it's all about Ian and Pfizer.
Furthermore, Pfizer reps are paid much less. Why would they keep all of us? We are replaceable with cheaper, younger folks they can mold and get to drink the Kool Aid.

Wow. That sounds just like Forest. I worked for them once. Lots of arrogant managers that would never fit in to the Pfizer culture - not that it is that much better. But I will say one thing is for sure, Pfizer buys companies for the products, not the people. Just look at history and take note. These are rough times in the pharmaceutical industry.
