Pernix can't pay it's bills

Feb 4, 2014, Pernix announced court case dismissed and settled. "Pernix has agreed to pay $1,330,000 to the Plaintiff Shareholders on or before February 7, 2014, which amount was accrued at the time of the Cypress acquisition as a contingent consideration in the Company’s financial statements."

Other news items:

-The stock put rights for January 2014 were waived.

-Cypress agreed to pay $12 million to the State of Texas as a settlement for Medicaid fraud. The amount was recorded as an expense during the quarter ended December 31, 2013.

Seems most of the uncertainty is behind Pernix now. Now let us see if Pernix can turn around and return to profitability.

This is a prime example why you don't ever, ever, ever, ever believe any of the trash you read on here. Where are all the haters with all the inside knowledge that we are going under? Ya'll don't know crap!

I will say, I don't know how we can keep paying these crazy high commissions. My guess is after we purchase new products everyone will go to a higher base and bonus structure will be based on goals. All the other products get sold off to whatever troglodyte of a company wants our snake oil. I am sure we will keep Silenor. Things could be looking up. I am ready to take this thing to a whole new level. When I am finished balling out Ian Read will be shining my shoes while he sings, "Master, Master, Master of Puppets is shining my shoes, obey your MASTER! Doug and I will sipping a cold one and putting another shrimp on the barbie, eh Mate?

The objective of the company hasn't changed. It's still on track to be sold. DD is here to help the company sell. CC and MP were just running the thing into the ground. It may actually sell now that DD is in charge and has some money to work with.
