People leaving the company…

So much truth in this post. I’m hoping someone with family wealth, a smart attorney on their side, gets handed a poorly constructed PIP. And the attorney digs in and actually asks the right questions about how data is compiled and collected here. At a previous, much larger pharma company, highly paid consultants admitted that the sales data is very inaccurate….And yet, these companies get away with layoffs and PIPs based on faulty data. That’s why it is so hard to listen to Senior Leaders talk “culture”, and the importance of “mental health”…just a big charade.

You can only hope that you have a decent manager, who recognizes effort and a strategic business approach, and who has the stones to stand up to a bully Regional Manager (they are rare, but they do exist).
Well, things have changed quite a bit in the legal world, my friend. First, courts as of late have sided more with the employer, verifying their right to let people go WITHOUT GIVING A REASON. There are States called "RIGHT TO WORK" States, which is a total joke, because the worker has NO rights. Any attorney is careful taking on cases were they don't have a strong case against the employer, because attorneys need to win cases to get clients.

As I said many times before here: Create your own income stream, whatever that is. The tide can turn against you any month. Otsuka will watch for a while, but only for a while. Just imagine if your top prescriber stops using Rexulti because of weight gain, or moves to another territory! You think Otsuka cares? Your numbers are down, and that's all they look at.

And finding another job is increasingly difficult. Many of the job ads posted are FAKE! According to the WSJ yesterday, about 1 in 5 job ads are fake, posted for the sole purpose of finding out the quality and quantity of the applicants IN CASE A JOB opens!
