I wouldn't put it past AZ. There are a lot of stories out there though. I hope women have the courage if they have compeling information. Will there be retaliation for current employees if they join the suit? What do you think?
They cant retaliate. If they do in any way, it’s another lawsuit and you’ll be on a beach or island w joying life after that one. On AZ money. Will there be retaliation for current employees if they join the suit? What do you think?
Remember, it’s i before e except after c. Do more Starbuck deliveries and your pay will go up.When will current and previous employees recieve information?
That’s so weird. Use the rule at your leisure.Remember, it’s i before e except after c. Do more Starbuck deliveries and your pay will go up.
Agreed. AZ does not value loyalty. They'd rather hire a newbie earning more than you at a higher career ladder and expect you to train them. You should always do what is best for You - and until AZ rewards leadership and loyalty from it's veterans there will be no motivation to stay and perform at your best. It's easier just to switch companies if you want a $35-$40K bump in pay for the same type of work.
No one made those statements to you, lying hussy.I received the letter. I experienced both pay and promotion discrimination as a female AZ rep and also had multiple managers say they wouldn't hire or promote females. I know for a fact I was paid far less than my male counterparts doing the same job. I tolerated it because at the end of the day it was still great money. Still wasn't fair though. In all honestly though I'm afraid to become a part of the lawsuit since I have many years left I need to work in the industry and I don't want to burn bridges. I don't work for AZ anymore but I doubt I'd be hired back if I wanted to be if I were involved in suing them! It sucks.
I'd never work for them again. Never saw a woman promoted during the seven years I was there.I received the letter. I'd say it was a good mix of men and women in our area but it was definitely a boys club.AZ only hires women!!! They are overrepresented and overpaid compared to their male counterparts.. AZ never pays current employees as much as new hires. If you want more money you have to exit AZ.
Seriously pathetic. Everyone is brought into in to any company based on previous experience, skill set, etc. If you don't like or agree with your salary look elsewhere.Got my letter in the mail today!!
Then explain why men with the SAME experience doing the SAME job in the SAME territory were making a higher salary and getting promotions? Did it ever occur to you that there are areas of the country with a very strong male dominated culture? Where men have been working for decades and are networked with other men that live in the same neighborhood or go to the same church, they go hunting and golfing together? Not an easy barrier to break! So f*ck off!Seriously pathetic. Everyone is brought into in to any company based on previous experience, skill set, etc. If you don't like or agree with your salary look elsewhere.
It is that simple. There are more woman than men in the pharma industry. Crying discrimination and trying to join some sort of ambulance chasing lawyer class action in hopes of grabbing a few bucks years later is just sad and a sign of the times.
Untrue. During my tenure (left in 2018), I witnessed a few female promotions, but they were all the Barbie type (blonde, svelte and cutesy).I'd never work for them again. Never saw a woman promoted during the seven years I was there.
Your experience is your experience, however in oncology there are females with no experience in either sales or leadership that are leading sales teams. Those are highly paid and sought after positions that have been, in several instances, given (I deliberately used the word given) to unqualified women based on cronyism and favoritism. They’ve been given license to become self described boss bitches, go on power trips and ruin careers - mostly of men.I received the letter. This is the reason there is a lawsuit. IdiotWomen should be paid less than men. Everyone knows it but are afraid to admit it. Every female I have known at AZ was always taking off at every opportunity. Pick the brats up from daycare, kids are sick, nail/hair appointments, pregnancy, the weather, doctor appointment, etc., etc., etc. Most offices can’t stand them because the women that work in there resent them because they make more money, dress better, have company cars, etc. They should automatically be paid 25% less than hard working men or family providers.
You shut your mouth, heifer. This is the reason there is a lawsuit. Idiot
