pay, benefits, interview

You are why drug reps have such a poor reputation in the sales world. WC makes it no secret to anyone they are a sales organization first. Reps holding Doctors accountable for the commitments and promises THEY give is hardly a red flag or bribe. Just because they have MD behind their name doesn't give them the right to lie to my face, and I would expect anyone to call someone out that lied to their face.

You do that and then let me know how that works for you sparky! The whole idea of "holding doctors accountable" is ludicrous.

saw a ad with inventiv for the asheville nc area the last reps last name was blanton didnt stay long where did this rep go, any info on what division and who is the manager. Heard this was a shit hole but a job is a job. I only hope Amber is at training i got at least 8 inches for her

any news on this offer

No, we just fire shitty performers. You have 6 months to impact your territory in a positive manner, if you don't, gone. So, apply only if you can move prescriptions!!

Amazing that there are still people that actually believe that they cause perscriptions to increase/decrease, but then again, there are people who believe in sasquatch too.....

Moron.

Ah, yes. I'm the moron for actually thinking that getting in front of dr's that haven't written 1 rx, EVER, and explaining feature/benefit of my product, to see their share go from 0-13% or so, nope, has NOTHING to do with me. Yes; I am a moron for thinking that. But it gets me out of bed everyday as well as gets me nice bonus checks. So, I'll be the moron with the house on the golf course, and you can be the disgruntled, big Pharma ex-employee troll on here who has never succeeded and is probably currently looking for a job.

Your first 5 words are completely accurate. You are in fact, a moron....

Good that you have come to terms with it.

Congratulations. You can count. I suppose you aren't the incompetent third grader I thought you might be. But seriously, that's all you have? Yes, please repeat the same thing you said in your first post. Maybe you are too idiotic to read into my satire. Have a great time looking for a job. I actually heard McDonalds is hiring for store managers, I bet you could secure a great position with them! :)

Hey, asshole! How old are you? From your writing, I'm bettting you're not over 25. Am I correct? I'll bet you can't wait for the weekends so you can run home to mom and dad! Do they live nearby? Oh, and treat that acne!!

Wow! Looks as if I've hit a sore spot! One of two deductions:
A) You have recently applied to a manager position at McDonalds.
B) You are, in fact, a disgruntled ex-big Pharma rep.

Now, let me go ahead and clear up a couple things about your assumptions. You got one right, I in fact living close to my parents. I'm very grateful for that. My wife and small kids love them to
death. However, you were no where close on my age. Not sure why waiting
for the weekend to run home to mom and dad has anything to do with Pharma sales. I'm assuming you think I am in college?? Regardless, everyone on this board, and probably viewing, could have done with out the immature "treat that acne" comment. I am in no way, shape or form in high school. Seems as if I got presumably younger and younger as your childish rant went on. I will refrain from saying anything else negative about you, as you clearly get disgruntled and frustrated quite easily (reference the part where you called me an asshole). The whole point of this was my opinion that I do, in fact, influence prescriptions in my territory. Have a great day! :)

The benifits are really good with WC- And there is no administrative work! None! With contract I am up to my eye balls in double work! Admin for the contract company, admin for the company the contract is for... Ah! And I am in the top 10% which means at WCRX I would make $20 bonus- I am making like $3000.

However, i hated med eds! They are the worst and you have to do them 2 times a week. That is 2 nights eating out at fancy resturants- and you are begging your docs to go so then once you ask them to write, they have already gone to dinner! You spend so much time running around confirming them, you don't have time left to sell!

Yes they also operate in shades of gray- and much of what they tell you I later learned is totally illegal, but the benifits are good. The grass is always greener- just be prepared for high turn over!

Great post. All true. (25, you mean 25k per trimester). And the high turnover won't affect you as long as you are selling. I hope you are interviewing for womens health. Really the only division worth a damn!
