Does it matter? It's been over a year since they announcement was made and there has been a whole lot of nothing. I'm sure it's doing wonders for the customers confidence in the company. Bottom line is if the investor community doesn't give a shit about it, which it clearly doesn't, MDT could care less.

The deal is basically dead. These same OUs that didn't let any employees apply for the VERP have begun big layoffs trying to cut their operating costs while Geoff figures out how to get out of this latest mess. He promised the street billions. What a cluster. How does the board just give him a pass on this huge failure, not to mention his buddy that was supposed to run this deal.
 








Corporatism is entirely broken. Marxism doesnt work and is even worse.

Why can't a country that invented cell phones and went to the moon create a financial system that isn't a dumpster fire?

Not surprised, but I have not heard "a RIF" was happening, sorry to hear this bad news.
 
























The speed with which this spin/sale is taking place is astonishing! I've never seen things move so quickly!!! Should be studied in a Phd Ivy league business program! It's thrilling to watch!!!!
 








It’s no surprise that the spin off is delayed; Afterall no other company wanted this pile of dog turd. Not Cardinal when the MedSupply division was acquired, GE didn’t want it, neither did ICUMed, Draeger nor any other vent manufacturers.
The trouble is that the patient monitoring technologies are all siloed; and the plan for integration was abandoned because the genius leaders (I’m looking at you White-ty) gambled and doubled down to keep them separated because they thought the “sum of all the parts were greater than the whole”.
And now they are dealing with the problems of showcasing “leading” technologies in 5 different boxes/systems which are antiquated even before it’s released

This is absolutely true. They must have warehouses full of those monitors. Can't give them away, but won't upgrade to integrated.
