Second, if you really work for this piece of shit company then you would know what we put up with daily. This is so funny. I think Chris is finally fighting back. He even said in the above post that layoffs are coming. I think management is pissed because we all know its coming. They get off knowing whats up and then sticking it to us. To the person who said some are working. Take a chill pill dude, we can't change anything this late in the game. Stock is in the $4 range, we are broke, don't blame us reps. I'm working a few hrs a day, but I agree its about us taking care of us. I wish I could share a thing or two, but I would be called out by someone that is in the know. Take care of your business, time is short. I want to say one more thing. My vivus manger is awesome. This person has taught me many things and I hope we work together again soon. As far as the rest, please-----how did you get these positions? I can't believe the board didn't throw you all out on the streets last year. Wow, congratulations. You not only ruined people's reputations with our offices but you also ran down a company that could have been something. Times are challenging in pharma today, not many companies are hiring so it could be a while for us to land a job. It's always easier to find one while you are employed. Auxillium only has 150. Their's all cover erectile. I don't see them adding 150 more just so they can cover obesity with the same amount currently used to cover Q. I am sure management knows they need more muscle, both in bodies and wallet.

So Vivus is just going to honker down and reduce the sales force and save capital. Whether doctors wright 2000 or 12000 scripts is irrelevant at this point because the cost of the sales force is to high relative to the balance sheet and the cash flow. Once the Paragraph IV is decided then a partnership can be pursued.

Sales force is gone. Drs will keep using without a sales force, will use Internet and phone communication to keep things going until a deal can be made.
