I heard from a very reliable source that Pfizer has been very tight lipped in confirming all of the details for the contract past Q3. This person also said the territories for the contract starting Q4 are going to be huge and that all P4 reps are not going to be needed. Some people will not make it past Q3.

Would this source know if pfizer is using less contract companies after Sep in general? They also have think 2 with PDI. Wonder if they are keeping more of their own and doing less contracts then???? Insight /Feedback from your source would be great.

This is to funny. I have a source at Pfizer home office that has told me that Pfizer is looking to get out of the contract rep business by the end of the year. Contract reps are just a line item expense to Pfizer. Cut the expense raise the profits.

If this is the case, why didn't they let us all go in June when the contract ended?

They never said for sure that everyone that made it through the lay off in June will be moving on to the new contract starting Q4. In fact, they have been very vague about it. I have heard rumors that many P4 reps will in fact not have a job come the end of Q3.

You are wrong. We got email today stating that every representative currently with P4 will be on the new contract. We have it in writing versus your rumors.

I hope you are right. From what I read on the email, it say Pfizer and Publicis leadership are still working on details of the "deployment". I would expect those details to be given to us the day AFTER the townhall meeting, which happens to be a Friday.

If someone can share with us how everyone of us will be on the new contract, please share!

You are delusional; it never said in the email that everyone currently on the P4 contract will be kept and moving on to the Q4 contract on EPBU.

The RFC's have confirmed that the territories are huge and that not everyone will have a job.

And you know this how? I have been told the territories are going to be very large, calling on only the top targets and there most likely will be cuts.

I just know. Be patient, don't listen to rumors, and while Pfizer reps are devastated next Thursday, you will feel guilty that you are smiling ear to ear. Trust me.
