They love R&D WATERFORD, taking on alot of new workers, actually the 200 they left go they have taken back on 140

Good for you. I still need to work, so glad I'm here pulling down the paycheck, bonuses and contest dollars. Still think this is a good place to be. Sorry for those who don't. We are in charge of our own happiness, though, so if you're not then find somewhere you can be. I think some of you never will. It's your nature to be unhappy with your lives.

waterford here, honestly they will strip
you of everything ye had, wages, bonases, jobs, horrible company, we were warned before they took us over, we said that they couldnt be that bad, well they are worse, 7.5 wage cut 200 workeres let go. Hiring back cheaper staff that will work for nothing & company gets 10 K for each worker ,all bonases gone, 1 hr extra a week to work
 






Whoever is writing those brief comments about how this place is great and hasn't changed is completely a plant from corporate. You're trying to disguise yourself as the average joe, one of us, but you're not. Your bias is ridiculous. No one who knows what they are talking about, or doesn't have an agenda, would ever say that this place is great and hasn't changed. This place has changed for the worse. Why did over 30% of the sales force recently leave ? Two ASD's and several managers too. Happy salesforce ? That's a lot of people to leave in a very short period of time. Go back to your office and figure out a way to re-establish morale and un 'F' up what you've done.

I was hired on in one of the first Valeant training classes. I have'nt seen any changes since the buy out. I cant speak for what it was like at Bausch, but it couldnt have been too good. If i go back through Cp, the complaints were worse then.

I think its funny that because someone does not agree with you, or is not a hater you label them and call them a fake. I came on board about four years ago. I make about $30,000 yrly more than i did at my last pharma job where i was ranked in the top third consistently. I have a really nice boss and a really fun team. My benefits are very good. The matching & stock purchas is better than most pharma that i interviewed with. I drive a much nicer co car than the allergan reps in my territory. My budget is just right. I am not forced into checking a box just to check a box. I usually have enough samples. My goals have been fair. Its not perfect, but nowhere is. If the whiney bitchy unhappy people would leave things would be better. I am not a corporate spy or plant. Im a sales rep too. I like my job and i am happy working here.

Did you know that the average turn over in pharma is between 26-30% ? Sometimes people leave. Usually its SUCCESSFUL people cashing in on their successes by advancing themselves. In fact, these days it is much smarter to make a change every 5 to 7 years. Ask around. If you're not, you lose your marketability.

The original point is comparing a current company with what it will be like after Valeant. You have drank too much cool-aid my friend. Any company that gets bought by Valeant will change and not for the better. I re-read this and laughed. You're a biased liar with inaccurate input!

You lose! Just cruising your board. I am a recruiter and pharma consultant. I posted about the turn over rate because it is something discussed on so many pharma boards. You all love to use the example of people leaving the company as a negative. In most cases, it is a positive and for positive reasons and has little to do with changes at a company. Changes give recruiters an IN, or a reason to contact people. We are offering to top performers only.

Not that you are not a top performer (since you were not contacted).

If you are not refreshing your skills every so often you become obsolete, even more so if you are in a small subspecialty that has little relevance in the overall pharma market.

But, of course, in your infinite wisdom, you already knew this. You were posting to stir trouble. Another reason that you may be stagnant and in a position where you are unhappy and unproductive.

be afraid. Sounds good if you think you will be part of a lean efficient organisation. Reality is you will be a hamster on a very fast wheel. If you don't make the grade..you are done.

You're fine working at a mediocre company with mediocre pay, that doesn't promote anyone just the favorites. No resources, micro management (let's be honest even though it doesn't feel like you are being MM, you are). Mediocre benefits, vacation, the list goes on..you've all become comfortable and lazy. Better is out there it may be unfamiliar or different but it's there.
