Let's talk about the ott survey. What gives? Do you really need a survey to tell you the woundcare sales force needs to get waxed? Or that all the ott execs are clueless with what's going on in the actual market place

The survey was a bit strange.

They should fold the Wound Care division. Why lose your ass with WC reps that suck when they could just have the OTT reps discuss the WC products with the DR's in the OR during larger wound cases? Double my sh*tty salary and I'll say "Hey Dr don't forget small sizes of this same product are available in the WC." Integra is stupid for paying the WC reps $100k+ when most of them can't sell $50k in a year and don't forget to tell the WC Regional managers to f*ck off too.

Anyone see the Area Sales Director position listed for the "tissue technologies" division? I thought this division is named OTT?
 






Spot on. You want to save bucks and help the balance sheet. Get rid of the 100 woundcare reps that you pay decent money for virtually zero sales. Anyone with half a brain knows the recon reps can sell this stuff in their sleep. With half the effort and half the amount of time to close the business. Because they are their relationships. And have been for years
 






Why would any of you surgical guys want to go through the crazy approval processes for wound care centers especially for $350- $900 cases and go to all of the follow ups ect? No thanks I'll stay in the OR please don't make me call on wound care centers! That job sucks!
 












How much do you think Integra is selling primatrix and omnigraft for to the wound care clinics? Everybody else is selling grafts for $350- $1200 to wound care clinics, so if you think they are selling a omnigraft for $2867 to the wound care clinic you're mistaken. Yes that's the list on a 2x2 jack wagon so no I'm not trolling douche!
 


















i know for a fact that they are going into my doctors offices trying to sell primatrix for $350. They have totally different pricing than we do because that's what the market and reimbursement dictates. Regardless theres no way I would want to chase that crap around! I'll be in the OR selling stuff with a lot higher ASP!
 






im not interested in selling into office or wound clinic. I am interested in not competing against my wound care counterpart for a 4x4cm wound. I don't know what their pmx price is, but a 5x5 meshed is much more. I purposely keep my counterpart away from my docs. Call on the docs using shitty office/wc products not my docs taking these cases to the OR for me!

It's a complete lack of strategy on Integra's part.
 












Recon reps can't sell period, oh yeah you can sell IDRT big whip. You have no competition!! That's all going to change and very shortly. The only way Integra has grown is because of price increases. Recon is a dead end position that is commoditized. Thats why you get paid so little and they why they don't care about you all leaving. Take your 30k base and go increase your IDRT prices!!

Idrt? Half of the territories don't even have burn centers. Pot stirrer. Uneducated one at that. Lack of Ortho innovation is definitely an issue and reason to leave though. When you are accountable and the products are from the Stone Age
