Organization Change

I left a while back, couldn't put up with DH. I heard a lot of changes in the field organization since then.

I heard that now NK reports to DH, giving DH a title of Senior VP of Sales & Marketing. Is that true?

While I do not think much of DH, I think this is a good move. At least now you will get some accountability from marketing and more direction on what the field needs and what would help the field. None of this fuzzy, touchy, feely stuff, but more of practical help for the field. I still remember the logo change & the so-called branding work she did. Wonder how many $$s she pissed away on that and how much extra business that generated!!

The new regime is very new-brand-focused.

I do not know when you left, but things are shaping up to be a bit different now. You wouldn't recognize the field org now.

I hope NK will now be better focused and start adding value. None of this helter-skelter or rah, rah type stuff. Knowing DH, I know he will make sure she shapes up or out of the door she goes, very similar to what he has done to some of my field cohorts. In any case wouldn't be much of a loss if she were not around.

RK quickly figured out NK is all talk and not much substance. So he has her report to DH, who will doggedly make sure she produces what we need in the field, or else! At least that is the scuttlebutt I got from a reliable source at corp HQ. I also heard that NK is none too pleased with this scrutiny and accountability. I guess she no longer has the free reign she had under DK.

Well DK did bring her onboard.

I think all of us who were thinking of jumping ship, now is the time. New managers clueless, low compensation compared to previous years, and complete incompetence overall. I'm outta here ASAP!!!!

wHAT HAPPEN TO Nancy?

Nancy landed on her feet as the new VP of Reimbursement & Health Policy. Down but not out!

My reading is that this is inching her towards out, given that over half of her responsibilities (for U.S. & OUS) have been taken away from her. Does this mean her pay has been cut in half, just curious?

Question is: would this be a quick "kill the dog, do not let it suffer" approach, or a "long term hospice" approach. Stay tuned.

Some say that if DH is given a free hand he will not let grass mold under his feet.
