I'm interviewing for a position selling Dermagraf, what can I expect as far as base and commission? What is the culture like? How much vacation is given? Benefit package? Any information would be appreciated!

So nobody has a damn thing to say about ABH and working for them? What is the process of interviewing like? How many rounds? When/If you make it to a final interview are you usually the only candidate left or are you still trying to beat out others? Buhler? Buhler?
They only have about 100 reps. and most of the people on this board are from the ADHD division and are clueless about ABH. I would go a step further and say that you would be hard pressed to find someone at Shire who has even seen or talked to someone who works for ABH. They were just acquired in July and have since branched out as their own BU. Maybe you should try to find out this info. from another source. How old are you anyway Buhler? Don't you know how to do your own homework on a company the vs putting all of your hopes and dreams into someone resolving your concerns via cafepharma?
First and foremost, I am qualified for this job and if I get it will be making twice the cheese your weak a$$ is making. So I am old enough for that. There are ABH people on this site occasionally reading the forum and contributing so other than yourself acting like an idiot, I would think someone might answer some of my questions. Thanks for the help you Shire peon.

So no insight about ABH? Are they under the pharma rules now that shire owns them? Do they have to follow pharma guidelines? Any extra info would help and all smart ass comments for a good laugh. Thanks.
Who is "ALL IN?" I know you can't wait to be in Dallas tomorrow to have the sunshine pumped up your ass. "IHEAL" is the greatest app in the whole wide world! YES! I know I am looking forward to 3 days of unadulterated brutality. Fucking shoot me now.
I have been hearing about kickbacks and bribes to docs with ABH reps. Is this true?
I don't work for ABH but know the company well....trust me. The reps make 250K to 400K but work their asses off for it. They do not participate in Pharma guidelines and are expected to entertain often. Top reps are out to dinner 2-3 times/wk and often playing golf on weekends. Base is 90K. benefits have changed for the better since the Shire acquisition. Some reps have formed a bad reputation with off label promotion and sneaky selling, but the product is great and management has cleaned it up. Most critical....you don't make quota, you're gone....no PIP. Go for it, it's a great opportunity. To the Shire punk on here - shut up when you don't know what you're talking about.
Alright, If everyone would please calm and keep the nastiness out of it there are obviously a few of us that are looking at this opportunity and need real information. I've been in medical device/surgical sales for 7 years but my pricing and ASPs are under attack and my income has really dropped. Things aren't what they used to be for a lot of us (not everyone, but a lot of us) in surgical device sales and I think more and more of us are considering opportunities like this.
Would this be an opportunity worth looking at coming from OR sales? The money is certainly in line with what I've been making. If there are any actualy ABH reps out there that can post some true insight baout the company that would be greatly appreciated. I'm really starting from square one here and don't know much about the products, management, etc. This sounds like more of a biotech job than a "medical sales" job but who cares if they money's right, I say. The one good thing is that the company has already been bought so you don't have to be worried about being acquired and being out of a job in 10 months.
Product's clinical value? Product's Competition? Physician adoptability? Sales Process? Management? Comp Plan? Insight please! thx![]()
Ok so... sounds like a slave driver culture. Used to that. How about the data on the product? So they didn't get the leg ulcer indication. Does this matter? Is it still a solid sell to the podiatrists? What about the cost and reimbursmenet of the product? Comp? Looks like the VP brought a lot of poeple over from Pfizer. Are they looking to hire more pharma reps or med device reps?
