Open TAM Respiratory/Rheum Position Southern CA

Just like everyone else. I will be leaving soon too. It’s just been hard for me to drive into this place. At times, it is hard for me to get out of my parked car in the parking lot knowing the day of full BS ahead. I’m sure, like many. It’s become harder and harder to tolerate. The favoritisms; the hypocrisy; and denials. I use to love going to work because I felt like I was part of something bigger than myself. That feeling of helping patients. Now, we reward workers are into personal absurdity. The system was deviated. Once the system deviates from its purpose. It has been corrupted. It has been perverted. It has gone beyond the point of no return.

As a black women, I cannot take this place seriously anymore. Before all the D&I hoopla, I was respected by my peers because they knew how hard I worked and committed I was to my job. Now this disingenuous D&I project led by our disingenuous leaders created an environment of distrust and animosity. The good and smart people are all gone. Why would they? Now we are left with a bunch of phony wannabes and bottom feeders. All of my credibility left with the people who recognized me as a professional, not a black woman. Come to this company with your own risk. I am planning my exit. This place is beyond repair now. Thanks to this incompetent and dishonest leadership team!

Thank you for this! I have found this D&I project to be insulting to the high quality professionals within the organization who happen to be black. The dog whistle is that "less-than" blacks have a leg-up for jobs and they end up experiencing more racism because of it.

There is a very good reason a usually coveted position in Southern California is not open. Not one of the 7 reps on that team applied for the newly developed ecosystem role in Southern California. Genentech is not the company it used to be. Very sad.
