I was so happy when I left Bausch to come to Shire a year ago. The benefits were great....vacation, and bonus for showing up....amazing Q4 bonus for us reps in D bucket. But benefits have gotten worse. Love how our pharmacy plan is now the shitty Optum RX that is a pain in the ass for Xiidra. And now we are primary care with 3 reps calling on my top docs....not to mention that I can easily see them every week, but whatever. And there are more than 5 NBU REPS calling on more Than half of my targets....oh, and I'm in the top 10 in my bucket. No where to go but down. I'm officially done with this ridiculous company! There is not one rep or manager that thinks this is a good idea. So now the NBU and the Ninja reps make calls while I fake mine.....so, there aren't any RDs or ZDs that will stand up to perry or Kathy to tell them that this is ridiculous? Is there anyone in the entire sales force that thinks this is helpful? For a 7 month old product, Xiidra is absolutely killing it! Period! Just because they blew the 1.5 million forecast, doesn't mean they should blow the whole thing up! When Medicare coverage improves, market share will hit 40% nationally. I can't believe they are screwing up this easy launch of an amazing product.

I feel the same way, we were sold a bill of goods and got another. But then again why did I think it would be any different bc it's the same management...PS, KK, and half the mgmt team came from BL. THIS COMPANY IS NOTHING like what we were told. The damage control I'm doing in offices bc of the NBU and shitty MC leaves NO TIME to sell. It's constantly putting out fires and it's exhausting!I feel exactly the same way. I've been here for a year and it is mind blowing how much Shire & OBU has changed just since January. I was promised that Shire mgt "gets it" and that I would get paid very well if I perform. My Q4 bonus incredible. Now I'm already doing damage control in my offices, NBU reps aren't adequately trained to answer questions and my docs are frustrated. Bonus is much less than last year & I'm very concerned that OBU will eventually have to help co-promote with NBU's launch. I only want to call on eye care, not interested in any other therapeutic area......
