One week challenge

The challenge:
For one week, starting 10-1, NO new threads about
Layoffs
Being bought out
Mergers

Why? It's safe to say that for the hundreds (if not more) of employees who wait year after year for a severance just to finally get out with a little payment....every time we get our hopes up, they are killed over and over with fake announcements that never come to fruition.

Listen up, WE get it...we're not stupid.
We have FINALLY accepted the fact that a (severance/layoff) is never gonna happen .We might as well go to work, fake that we're happy/it's a gray place to work, and try to get a bonus. We're stuck with AZ like quicksand. No way to just walk away with money. Those days were over in 2012.

Are really the best threads going. I know what you mean, lots of dumb statements and the stupid spell checkers and the trolls who only try to insult people, if you take them out of the discussions I'd be better.

Everyone from sales rep to EBD feels the same way. We all want the same thing. Give us the financial incentive to leave this place and a way out that maintains some sense of self worth and a path towards another job opportunity. Please give us a chance to move on instead of just lining your own pockets.
