One week and counting...

So true, one week I was at a meeting and the VP was patting us on the great job we did and how the company couldn't have done it with out us and the next week we were laid off.

True, you can never trust Merck Management. They use everyone like pawns in a game for their own interests, and when they're threw with your services....you get the "boot".

I got the word today, and could not be happier.....bottom line, I don't want to work in a place that has management folks with so little integrity...... I find it shocking..... only hope this group drives my options up even higher.... at the end of the day, I have sympathy for those of you who are left....

Some are out same day, some have to stick around awhile..... there is a 60 day "warn" period in NJ that they can ask you to work through...... so all depends on whether they need you to transition.....

Why is it that as employees our only source of info is from Cafepharma? We have heard absolutely nothing from management about what is going on regarding layoffs. Meanwhile rumours are flying around everywhere, productivity is way down, moral is at zero.

Great way to manage a company!
