I know that there are way too many oncology reps in a pod, but can someone give me an idea of the salary? No, I’m not going to base my decisions based on just what is said on here, but sometimes you can get a few honest people on here.
Yes, the culture is not fabulous where I am, either. The grass is rarely greener anywhere except for when it comes to pay.

Anyone??? Plenty of time on our hands now....
I would just appreciate a range and thank you in advance. I know it’s a crazy time right now but I’m using it to look at other options.
It’s the same crap everywhere, just a different title. So if the money is a bit more and I can have a decent mgr....
DMs making much more or is it not even worth the bump with the travel and bs??
thanks everyone! #AmericaStrong

Do you really think they will want to see all of us after this? There are too many of us calling on same people. The grass may be greener in companies without overlap.

I have been way ahead of the personnel issues. I actively discourage practices from seeing anyone but me and yes I lead in sales

Amazed at the number of resumes I recently received from Merck oncology reps. Most with the company < 1 year.

Someone is making bad decisions over there it seems.
No actually the culling is occurring as planned. Reps leave of their own accord. No severance no entanglements. You should receive many more resumes

I’ve been interviewing there. Started before this craziness. If you have no onc experience, good luck getting beyond $140k, even if you have other specialty/biologic experience. You may as well be coming from primary care, as far as they are concerned. It’s insane. If you have a few years of experience, the reps that are there now who were hired in the last expansion told me you would be beyond lucky to get $160k. It’s a place to get onc experience and then move on.

I was told by hiring manager that they were going to continue with interviews starting July 1. Did you ever get an idea of salary range?

The offers depend upon prior real Oncology experience:
Three years. $178000
Five years. $200000
Ten years.$230000

The quotes are base salaries. Bonuses very varied
