Job reductions coming very soon. Managers already know what new geographies will look like and what reps they want to keep. Marketing changes coming as well. Lean oncology will be hear soon. John, you are so not getting this. With that $6B, you could have kept all of your star sales reps, all of your star scientists. Because of this single mistake, the entire company is in danger.... and this isn't the ONLY mistake.

But I'll make it up to all of you. The new pub in bld 28, the upcoming soccer field and amphitheater will more than make up for any other foolish investments that I've made. I'm sure our shareholders will be impressed by these investments as well. JL

Ummm yeah! That is one program we have in HR. There are others, for example the STAR system for recruiting. We basically troll for those who know real success, to do the same here.

Newt, When are you getting rid of bi-ads?

Newt needs to take action NOW starting with:
1. Get rid of CP. Her highly paid position is not necessary and she has never been a true leader.
2. Cut the sales force in half. This will improve efficiency and CVM scores. We don't need excessive & useless headcount swarming over our customers.
3. Light a fire under marketing. They need to drastically improve what the sales reps have to offer our customers.
4. Fish or cut bait with the Imclone pipeline products. If there are no viable molecules there, be honest and get on with it.
5. Improve the culture within the Oncology group. We need people who are accountable and can get things done. The rest can get the Hell out.

The marketing is a big problem. BS is a terrible cmo. His leadership is so bad that it is impossible to overstate how bad it is. How did he ever survive a single talent ID/GDR session?
 
























The best thing. About the pending job cuts is that CP will have to face the music! How Cook justified her in the vp role to begin with is an example of the poor leadership in obu. Everything she touches is a disaster, promotes her friends and surrounds herself with yes people.when jo left you knew it was all over!
