Oncology division

I heard a rumor so take it as that. Eiasi is thinking about closing the oncology part and giving it to another company and just taking the profits while having no oncology employees or risk.
I have heard this before. Without anything new coming, why not. Eisai would be more profitable without any sales people to pay or benefits and the risk being taken by someone else. You sure don't see any new people being hired to launch a new product do you! Tory and the management team are clueless.

Several decades ago, Japanese companies usually just licensed their products to a western firm to promote on their behalf. They were wise enough to acknowledge they didn’t have the intelligence, experience, knowledge or acumen to compete effectively in the US market. It’s probably time to get back to that.

There are no Jap pharma companies that are considered world class. That definitely applies to Eisai.

No, oncology companies are always doing partnerships with multiple competitors. Doesn’t mean anything
Yeah? Really? Name one in the exact same class/MOA, where one of the companies owns a 40% interest in revenue of the other.
Merck could have easily done that collaboration with us and Len. They chose not to.

Stop trying to paint this positive picture. It’s laughable.

Guess you are not listening to the EXEL earnings call...they are kicking our ass and now our 'companion drug' is partnering with their new TKI...yeah sounds like all good news for Eisai. Keep drinking the Kool-Aid...

"8 consecutive quarters of Nivo/Cabo being the #1 prescribed IO/TKI combo in RCC". #1 TKI in RCC and we are not even close.

Oncology is dead here.

Ok ok geeze it’s not good. So many bullies at this company! Sounds like next year will be a good time to look.

This place is going out of the oncology. I finally broke down and call a recruiter today to beging the search, it's time to leave. I have been here a long time and its unsettling looking for a job.
