Oncology division

Tory isn't a bad guy but, I wonder if he knows he was brought in to start closing the place down. Oncology is going away. It will be a skeleton crew soon.
He's a good guy but I wonder if he knows all his managers and OSSs are looking for jobs. The door is spinning fast. I'm a senior guy in my division at 2 yrs.

Am I crazy and the only one that thinks about this- Lenvima patent will not last much longer and we are putting all our oncology eggs in that basket. What happens in a couple years when that product is off patent? Do we still have jobs? Are we even needed at that point. We have nothing new coming in the future as far as I can see. I think this is a 2 year gig at best. Time to start moving on.

Look at what happened after Aricept then AcipHex went off patent. That's what I'd expect to see happen after Lenvima.

Eisai should never be more than a two-year gig. Get what you need out of this place and move on.

It’s amazing the caliber of losers Eisai hires from the top down. You can have no experience or required training and still get jobs at Eisai. VP of sales, RBD”s, ABL’s, Reps with no sales experience all get hired at Eisai. They have a great business model….it’s called “incompetence” Don’t even get me started with their marketing department….Holy shit what a disaster. Good luck to all who that stay. You will all be fired anyway because Lenvima goes off patent in 2025. 91 in-house people will be fired in April 2023. This is the beginning of the end!

Wait until you see an entire division leave in the south. Tory and Eric made a bad decision. They have about a month to fix this or all will be gone. I have never seen anything like this, being treated horrible.

Listen, we hired someone because of we had to and it wasn't a good choice. The person is trying to make a name for themselves and its a mess. If the person would just stop and learn how to manage, talk to and treat people, that would be a good start. It's a weird situation but, we brought it on ourselves by not hiring the best person for the position. Again, we hire for what it looks like.

I have two words for this company:

MARKET ADJUSTMENTS

If you want to retain people, you need to adjust salaries to reflect the market. Oncology reps make, on average, between $185k-215 base with much higher bonus structure. If you want people to stay make it less tempting to leave.
