With today's horrible news I think we all know this is not going to end well for us
turned down an offer in August. Looks like I dodged a major career bullet.
It’s no secret, they will all be let go - it’s the Biogen way - I hope your Zoom interviewing skills are up to snuff, as it’s going to be tough out there.Any ideas of what will happen with those hired to sell the new drug?

Mock panel review (unlikely approval)

It is 99.99% chance it will not get approved. They will ask for more data. Where will this leave us?
If you came from an established job and things were okay, it was a terribly wrong move. If you came because you needed a job, look at this as good experience and something you can now put on your resume. It is sad how companies play with so many people's lives when they can simply acquire people with a letter of intent to hire upon FDA approval. Then use the first three months to train and gather information from the marketplace. THEN proceed with a launch. Very logical. Why some of these companies don't do that is a wonder.
Hopefully, the FDA's decision to say no won't come until March and Biogen does give those they let go a decent package to allow time to find a new job. Approval isn't going to happen, but senior leadership really knows that.
if anyone took this job coming from even a decent job, they are idiots. Most of those that ended up accepting were running from something and 3 or 4th choices of the hiring manager.
Biogen’s history suggests they couldn’t care less about these folks, so the severance and time will be minimal
