Old ass drugs

Thanks Mitch. It must suck being you
Not Mitch, but you know that...again we know who you are and since it will just get pulled, I will not put your name up here again, San Antonio. Know this, the reason you don't get interviews, let alone jobs at good biotech's - and we know you have tired many times - we get the calls - is we put your name out there to more people than you can imagine - think of all those biotechs you applied to in the last 5 years and were perplexed as to why you never even got a call, let alone an interview - hopefully you are no longer confused at to why.

Reputations still mean something in our business and hiring managers know you are the guy who comes on here and anonymously trashes someone that you have't even worked with in close to a decade. Very petty...so we are matching your pettiness and stymieing your career. You made your bed...better enjoy doing meaningless, underpaid work at one of the well known toxic culture companies in our industry...you are going to be there for awhile...if you're lucky, as we know people there too.

All you had to do was stay off of here and keep your mouth shut...again you are not very smart or talented, thus it's no surprise.

Wow. Blatantly admitting slander with the intent to blacklist someone without evidence. Pretty sure this crosses many boundaries not to mention being illegal. If I were the person this was directed toward, I would most definitely be seeking legal council. Particularly since the quote specifically says "we" implying the company leadership as a whole has decided to participate in this behavior. Not surprising since this isn't the first time this has happened at this company as nepotism and cronyism are the overriding theme. Lord forbid you don't fit into their club because you'll pay for the rest of your career.

Offering honest, candid feedback, solicited or unsolicited, person to person on a person who never worked at our current organization does not cross any legal boundaries. People talk and provide references to each other within their networks.…nothing illegal about that either. The “we” is a network of people contacted directly and indirectly, who do not work at the same company just well connected in the industry.

The tool bag posting never worked at Exel, nor is it the HR department providing this feedback since this person never worked here. Also what was is slanderous? You know nothing of what was said. People could merely be saying, “I wouldn’t hire them”. Noting slanderous about that. I guess you never heard of references? Not all of them are good.

Maybe you should watch a few more season of Matlock and brush up on your legalese.

"we put your name out there to more people than you can imagine - think of all those biotechs you applied to in the last 5 years and were perplexed as to why you never even got a call, let alone an interview - hopefully you are no longer confused at to why." - maybe you should consult your own legal department

Perhaps you should consult the First Amendment. (No one is yelling fire in a theater or saying defamatory/false statements)

This is not a current EXEL employee giving an untruthful reference on a former EXEL employee, which is what I believe you are trying to insinuate by saying' "maybe you should consult your own legal department". I don't work for EXEL nor did the person in San Antonio. We have no corporate ties to each other at all.

These are just acquaintance, friends, perhaps former colleagues, talking about someone they may or may not have worked with in the past and offering an opinion of what they have heard about this person via their professional network.

Here is an example of a spoken conversation:

A: Hey I see you have an opening in San Antonio?
B: Yeah as a matter of fact I do.
A: Cool, I would be careful in lookin at XYZ candidate.
B: Oh really, how come?
A: Just saying, you should ask around, I've heard there are highly respected and reputable people out there who would not strongly recommend them and would be hesitant to hire them.
B: Anything specific?
A: No, I would just ask around.
B: Did you ever work with them?
A: No, just heard to be careful, that's all.
B: Well, I respect your opinion so if you are saying I should look closely and ask around I will take that seriously.
A: Good idea.
B: Thanks for the heads up.

And that is how easy and legal it is...no defamatory, untrue or slanderous statements, nor am I acting as an agent of any company.

Now the flip side of this coin is you (or your friend) has written defamatory and libelous statements on here...so perhaps you (or your friend) should check with your/their legal team...you know, the one neither of you have, to check in on your/their risk exposure to libel.

Here is one of yours/theirs:
"The way he treats women. He’s a misogynist He should have been fired a long time ago"

Far easier to prove libel than anything else 'we' have written on here. All 'we' wrote is perhaps there is a reason you don't get calls. On the other hand...the proof of your/their libelous statement is here for all to view.
