Ok, I'll bite...

Great opportunity

I Just received a great offer that was significantly higher than with my current oncology company. I am very impressed with all of those I met in the interview process. Product has great efficacy and tolerability data and 2 additional novel agents in the pipeline.

People are quite entertaining when talking "experience".

Any one in "pharma" "bio" industry could sell any products and medical doctors don't need an educational briefing from a sales person. Seriously come back to earth.

As a physician I highly respect any sales person that simply listens to me, supports me when needed, and quit telling me anything about a product we have already been well versed. I would much rather talk to someone with passion and hunger than some rep that has an ego bigger than their small head because they worked from Genetech or Celgene?

Managers go find hungry representatives for a change. Please!

I am so glad you find us entertaining. We find the "medical doctors" entertaining as well. I fully realize that you are the smartest person in the room according to you and that there is nothing that we could say to remotely interact with you on an intellectual level. We love to hear you whine about how hard you have it and how in just a few short months you will have to shut your doors if the government doesn't up your reimbursement rates. You have the social skills of a fence post and the thing you need to remember is that we no more want to see you than you want to see us. It's called a job!!!

Some cheese to go with your whine?

Hey doc, I totally agree with you. I don't feel like I should be telling a clinician how to do their job. I'm tired of this industry but I have golden handcuffs. You are right that you don't need us to tell you anything. You are right that we will support you with whatever resources we are still allowed to offer as our wings have been clipped for many years now. I totally get it. Most days I don't feel like I add any value. Wonder how much value the Pharmacyclics reps will bring since hematologists will use their drug whether or not a rep calls on them

Be prepared to be entertained by the constant turnover on the Management team and Board of Directors.
If that doesn't keep you enthralled, the insights into Scientology should keep you captivated.

Surprised not to hear any comments about "co promoting with JnJ reps".

These sales reps won't be there too long as Duggan boy is preparing this company for a sale. How do I know;

No efforts to in-license or buy anything for growth. They have the cash too.
One hit wonder, pipeline is weak.

Big gamble as well...
One patient dies from Ibrutinib post marketing and this company goes Affimax on our asses.

Because the drug is great, this company will be bought out within a very short period of time. Could be J n J but depends on how the agreement was written. Other big pharmas will line up. Agree, that after approval be prepared for a constant management shuffle, just how it works in small biotech. Some are just there until the drug launches and then they are gone and off to the next start up.

Envy can be a destructive thing, sometimes downright evil. I am really sorry that you didn't make the cut and missed out on the great opportunity. Good luck next time.

Envy?? I'm an investor. What makes you think I work/worked there? It's all public information. Don't shoot the messenger of facts. High turnover at board/management level is not a good sign, especially if the goal is to build a legacy. Company will be short term and flipped upon approval. Then we all profit.

I 'm an investor and this company has paid off handsomely. Ibrutinib will be a blockbuster, however, PCYC will be acquired after approval. Writing is on the wall, pipeline is weak, and as others have said, no Business or Corporate Development deparment and they have over 300 employees.

No offense, but you really have no idea as to what you are talking about. PCYC will not sell out to another company for several years, if ever. Just do the research, and you will come to a different conclusion, it's all available on financial sites. I have invested in this company also, with a background in investing in several biotech companies. I predict that this stock will hit at least $155 by years end, if not more. This is a product that will make a lot of money. By the way, it is spelled Ibrutinib
