Oh Canada, eh?

Drone? Now that’s funny. He did have the characteristics of a mannequin too. Basically stood around sometimes with a blank stare into space doing sweet FA. Stupidly dangerous overall, hence the mess we’re in.

Fast forward one year and Patterson Canada has joined the falling margins game in the race to stay relevant.
3 National wide distributors is not apparently enough and 4th one is trying to make some noise (Amax).

The insanity from the morons that are now mostly gone from Minneapolis, made its way up here. While we fought as hard as we could, we couldn’t avoid getting dragged into the pile of dung along with the US. That little aforementioned company has Canadian roots and will get their share of the market (mostly from you know who). In a few years we’ll drop from being market leaders to 4th place. Hey Minny, if you’re listening, sell the Canadian business to someone that know what they’re doing, clearly you never did, and never will.

Patterson Canada is somewhere around #2-3 now, depending on supplier sales data. Nobody will pay for canadian business of this size, another company was was sale back in the day and no decent offer was submitted.

Most vendors tell you what you want to hear, right after they usually ask “what the fuck happened to you guys?”

They all know - shortly after Anderson, Guggenheim and Gugino’s reign of terror they left us with a real dingbat in charge who then left us with a big mess with top people and GM’s leaving. More turnover in 2 years than we had in the last 20.

Laughing stock of Canada now.
