Here are some assumptions you've made about me:
1. That I'm clueless- well i do know that Mallinckrodt is headed for the shitter real fast (Stock down almost 9 pts today) and the environment is highly toxic.

2. That I'm Jobless- Actually I have a great job, selling to the OR, at plan Ill be at $225k this year.

3. That Im brainless- I had enough brains to get far away from the sinking ship as possible.

4. That I was a primary care rep prior to Mallinckrodt- Actually I never sold to primary care physicians, is it fun? Im assuming that you have and thats why you look down upon it.

5. That I have no experience- Actually I have 17 successful years of selling to Operating Rooms, C-Level hospital executives, and multiple disciplines in medicine.

6. Im a loser because I read the Mallinckrodt cafepharma when I don't work here anymore- I come back to this website because I can't take my eyes off the car crash.

Now here is what I KNOW about you:

1. You are a 45%er and It makes you so so mad. However you channel your anger at the wrong person.

2. You have 15 years experience and you tend to confuse that with success.

3. As an OSS rep with Mallinckrodt they gave me a larger base salary then you (a precious HSS rep)

4. Recruiters contact you up to 3 times per month with opportunities because you are the most marketable person on Linkedin. They actually cry at night when you tell them that your not interested in what they have available. (obviously just joking)

5. You wear scrubs to work however you've never been in the operating room let alone a sterile area that requires scrubs.

6. You will at some point in the next 30 days order from Panera. My suggestion is the Turkey Bravo.

8. You make excuses on why your numbers suck. In reality its because you aren't any good at what you do .

9. You didn't even realize I skipped #7.

Stay at Mallinckrodt, wait for that opportunity, its coming… hahahahahahahahahaha

Former OSS rep here, let go in the last wave! Haters go ahead and call "troll", when I actually am just amusing myself:p. The point that most are missing is that we all are/were former successful (to varying degrees) sales people. That being said, HSS, OSS, former PC - doesn't matter - what has happened to both MNK and Cadence, has been a SERIES of horrible decisions made by the talking heads. The truth in this is that they are considering going back to another co-promote (i.e. spending more $$$ to train yet another salesforce) just to make up for the ridiculous $ increase made in the first place! Ofirmev is an incredible product - just not as incredible to price it at the premium that the talking heads decided!

Stop blaming any salesforce and put the blame where it belongs...

When they realize that plan isn't going to work who do you think is going to get cut? OSS got cut because they were brought in to sell Xartemis and it was a dog.

Your opinion of HSS reps is unfair and unjustified when in reality you are referring to such a very small minority of asses. The fact is there are really hard working people here from the beginning of launch that care and have families to support. You are taking this to a whole new level when you make comments like "now it is our turn to laugh." I can tell you for a fact, most of us weren't laughing. Those are the type of comments I find to be extremely sick and very immature. Who cares what a few asses say on this site? Do you really think the majority feel that way? This is a pathetic company and believe me, for those of us that are still working here, we suffer every single day and I felt extremely bad for the people that were let go. No one deserves that.
In terms of the co-promotion, it isn't what you think it is. They won't be going to all of our accounts or anything like that but it is too boring and long of a story to describe this.mmyes, it's dumb but it won't affect the HSS day to day activities at all. You're are correct that this company is a sinking ship and the stock is considered "over-sold," but we have to live with it for now. I don't think you should be throwing stones at all because I guarantee you that the type of jerks you are describing are probably 2% of the sales force population. Don't worry, as another message earlier alluded to, there are three opportunities coming up where each company has been heavily targeting many of us. Two of the three are supposed to happen first quarter of next year. I promise you that you will see a very large percentage of managers and reps resigning all at the same time. This will be a devastating blow to the company to lose so many. But what do they expect? You treat people like crap and expect otherwise? No way.

You're right on with your comments. I think this company sucks and what they did to those reps after just making them purchase cars is sickening. Like you, I hate it here and everything this company stands for. The stock price is indicative of the poor leadership we have in place. They should put that on their resumes. What can on do? I have to keep the job until I find something better. There is not a doubt in my mind that every single rep has feelers out and are looking for other opportunities. This also includes the ABM's and RBD's. I can't think of one person that I know that works here that is happy here. Not a single person. It is all a charade and everyone is going through the motions until they can get out. This is a bad company. No one likes working for a bad company. So I'm not sure why there are people that would be happy about someone else's unfortunate circumstances. I feel bad for everyone that Mallinckrodt negatively affected. The icing on the cake on top of everything else is that the bonuses are super low and no me is making any decent money here anymore. So why would anyone want to stay here? I can't think of a single reason why anyone would stay here other than waiting for a different job opportunity with someone else. People like MT and MM make me ill.

Still the fact remains that there will be co promotion which directly implies substandard results by HSS reps. As to whether there will be layoffs that's another story but what company wants to pay pharma reps that aren't producing? No organization can be profitable that way.

I can safety say the negative performance of this drug had nothing to do with the pharmaceutical reps and everything to do with the price increase and all the other poor decisions the current unskilled and uneducated management leaders have made. Future companies are not going to look at an individual rep and say wow OFIRMEV did awful and equate that to the rep. If anything, this will greatly help on all interviews. Some of the docs who like to go out a lot I just don't put them in the system.
I mean we all know we all have go to people for programs, and 6 new programs not including webinar is too much.
