Idk what he’s looking for?
I mean with the salary they are offering too!!

I have been working with a recruiter, but know that Amarin also posted the positions themselves. Anyone know if recent applications directly to Amarin have been looked at? I have a friend who posted to their site, but hasn't heard anything yet. Curious if she applied too late. Thanks!

The entire process was very laid back. F2f was standard format but casual, then had a call with another manager that was much shorter but still very standard format of questions. Simulation was easy. You sell them whatever you decide. You will speak with the person you are selling to prior to the simulation and give them some background info on your product and they will ask about common objections. Expect one of those objections to be given during simulation. Make sure to close, etc.
How long after the simulation was an offer made? Was it made clear how many reps got to this stage?

Any of you silly enough to do a simulation to get a job like this, are not very smart or confident yourselves.

Grow up people.

A company that over looks your college education, accomplishments, and your ability to answer sales questions, in favor of how you do on a ten minute simulation, is NOT the kind of company smart people should want to work for.

Have more belief your ability and stop letting these flimsy companies like Amarian run amok.

Thanks for the HUGE lag in getting any representation into these areas. All you did was let the fervor die down and let us downplay and dismiss any of the hype. Now, when you finally DO get people in the field, all they are doing is selling a GLORIFIED FISH OIL! You thought you would wait to fill these areas so you wouldn’t have to hand out big commissions but now you will be lucky if you make any targets. Talk about your Mickey Mouse operations!

just got a call from a recruiter. Besides the base pay, it sounds like a really great place to be. My current company absolutely sucks and is super micromanaged. I would take about a 5,000 cut in base pay but it might be worth it for my sanity
