I know many people who interviewed and were told they are in the running and none have received offers yet. I really believe they start next week. Anyone know differently?
I believe that there people who received offers Friday but I think there while be many more offers going out through the week.
There will be many offers going out Monday and Tuesday- some beyond that. The idiot that said a manager can't make 10 calls clearly is not in the mix because managers are only hiring 6-7 maximum candidates. Sure those calls can be made in a day but not all calls were ready to be made...
And another idiot said there are 2 hiring dates- that also is very wrong. there is not a great rush to get this done. There is plenty of time to wait for best candidates.
Just relax. If hiring manager led you to believe you were top candidate they should have reached out to you, but still have time.

According to someone internal the managers have been instructed to be very tight in their communication. Even those that have been told all along that they are the lead candidate have been kept in the dark since panels. This experience has been different from the beginning - everything takes so long. If you were told that you were strong, and were in a good position, then do not lose hope. Offers will be coming this week. I believe that HR just needs to put everything together before the hiring manager can communicate it to the candidate.

I would hope to get a call either way. Several posters said be patient. Offers going out all week. Maybe still hope?
Offer, I can't even get my interview expenses reimbursed? Don't too impressed.

Well deserved response. Here we all are on pins and needles and there has to be at least one jackass....speaking of the spelling cop. I think some of you are freaking out pre-maturely. Yes a DM can make 6,7, 10 calls in a day, but remember, HR is having to put together the packages for 174 people. This is no easy task, especially for a very small company building its first large sales force, therefore, probably not many people in the HR dept. Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but the hiring DM told me first week of May, not Monday, May 4.

I know of another candidate that got a rejection call from a manager.
Got my offer on Friday. The salary increase was not what I expected, but when I compare them to whom I work for now, I think I will be better off with them.
