Offer Package?

Do you know if they have hired for Chicago or Minnesota?

Yes. But not at Burger King.

For the 2nd time, all hiring has been completed but about 5 territories. Yes, 80% came from Biogen, give or take a few %'s.

All those holding your breath waiting for the recruiter to call, have a peaceful, slow death.
I didnt even send my resume to the recruiter...biogen manager now manager at Savient contacted me (and other colleagues)

ARE YOU PITIFUL UNEMPLOYED BIMBO'S GOING TO POST IN AUGUST OF 2011 saying" Still haven't heard from recruiter yet, I talked to them in April of 2010 and they said they would call me back. I have 2 decades of Rheum sales/buy & Bill, etc..."

ITS OVER now get back to work for Pfizer

Do you all know that this company has actually been around for 30 years. I dont think they are just gonna launch a product and then disappear after 6 months. Cmon people lets get real. Thats why they are hiring us to get the referrals through, get the prior auths, get the medical necessities completed for the office and get these severe patients on therapy. That is why they are paying us VVVEEERRRYYYY Well!

You sound like a moron. No way you were hired. Try doing some diligence on how this micro expansion even came about and the background of some of the RBD's hired and why the 50 reps are being brought on as an investor scheme and last ditch effort. The fact that Savient even had to hire a measly 50 reps made the board so angry that one has to question how long these rep jobs are even going to last.....I give it 6 months max, and that is if the product moves quickly, which will be impossible without the medicare contract and rebates from PI. This is one big cluster, believe what you want, but based off the post above, there are some very naive people in this mix. I heard we were hiring reps who will not ask questions, as the answers will be not what one would like to hear, especially if you have a tenured background in buy and bill and infusion Rheumatology. The proceed with caution thread is spot on. Educate yourself and read the thread. Gout live in Primary care offices, the company has already stated that, 80% is their target number in PC, 50 reps covering 3 states per rep will make for one very wild goose chase...impossible territory management. There will be so much rejection due to cost, no reimbursement and private medical necessity request from the big 3 payers that reps will be constantly bagging their heads against the wall until they are either fired or quit. YOU will be spending so much time trying to assist with medical nec. letters and paperwork regarding the need and utility for the drug, that by the time your doc gets the denial letter of coverage, you best be moving on 4 hours away from that doc and staring all over again. Insanity will prevail.

Great to hear from you again 'escape goat'.
You think the 'proceed with caution thread is spot on'? That should't be a big surprise since you authored 3/4 of the posts. I'll save you some time on your next post, just use this template:

BLAH BLAH BLAH, do your homework, BLAH BLAH BLAH, buy and bill and rheumatology experience, BLAH BLAH BLAH medical necessity, BLAH BLAH BLAH medicare.

I guess you could also just cut and paste any of your previous posts, as you've gone well beyond redundant at this point.
Thanks for all of the head's up about the issues with this job and company, we can't say you didn't warn us, over and over and over again.

above poster makes some excellent points. The rheums will not have lists of patients waiting for this drug like other biologic launches...have fun finding them in the primary care offices or convincing rheum to spend time to "recruit" patients that will not be reimbursed for down the road. Good luck to those that got the jobs...you are going to need it.

I didn't realize that you were a board member when I read your previous posts. What a relief that we have such a MENSA member helping to run our company.

Help me with one thing, walking dick with ears: I was under the impression that we had less than 150 states in this country but your alignment scenario is interesting. Are we also going to cover Canada and Mexico? Please let me know what the Board decides as soon as possible. I hang on your every (stupid, angry and inaccurate) word.

Perfect example of the RBD's who were mercy hired.......read above. reeks with management, you fool no one.

The Kool-Aid Savient is handing out appears to be mighty yummy...lets see how delicious it is in six months when reimbursement denials are still an issue, severe patient pool dries up, and tolerance to the drug becomes a problem etc.
Again, good luck making it through this year with Savient. You are going to need it.

Actually nobody buys the shit they are selling, it is one senior management person who I will name if they do not shut their pie hole who keeps posting this rah rah fake bullshit about medicare coverage and private payers. We all know, including all the doc's, and members of the payer brand strategy group that Kyrstexxa will be a shot in the dark for any type of reimbursement for the patients, but nobody gives a shit about the patient, this is about making a quick buck for the investors and board, nothing more, nothing else.....

short lived, short duration risk vs. reward, remember this was a last ditch plan FOR SAvient to have their hand forced in hiring a temporary sales force, this was supposed to be handled by a partner via a co promotion or flat out acquisition and license deal for full sales and marketing rights and royalties, but there were NO TAKERS, NO BUYER, NON INTEREST IN THIS PRODUCT AND ITS BAGGAGE. That is the skinny and truth. Keep spinning the kool aid and cotton candy joke-man, but your act is getting old.

The more and more I read these negative posts about Savient the more I truly believe that THE SAME PERSON IS WRITING THEM OVER AND OVER again!!!! Grow up and get back to a real job instead of wasting your companies time on Cafepharma.

Direct and to the point. I agree with your post, and this is my FIRST TIME ON THIS BOARD AND TOPIC. SO GO F YR SELF MR. MANAGER WHO POSTS THAT IT IS JUST A FEW POSTERS, GROW UP! The deflection and spinning of truth by the resident pumper and SAvient cheerleader on this board is hilarious. Funny that the posts that tickle your little pecker sideways are the posts and topics that carry the most factual and substantial truths.....coincidence, I think not! Bite me you Puke! I was semi interested in this job, until I asked my Rheum's about this product, coverage, obstacles, and "if"s and hypotheticals, the overwhelming response was staggering. Proceed with caution.

Thanks for the promotion. Now stop wasting time with me and get back to writing posts that agree with your own previous posts so it looks like there's more than one person on this earth that cares about this (one way or the other) as much as you do.

Hahahahaha
Who the fuck do you think you're kidding with that "this is my first post" bullshit. If I had the same amount of free time on my hands as you seem to, I would cut and paste all of the redundant phrases that you keep repeating over and over again. You don't have to be fucking Matlock to catch on to your patterns tough guy. I'm glad you passed on this job, obviously not for you and maybe you'll have the last laugh. Is there going to be a point when you can say you've warned us enough and let it go?

If this opportunity is so much BS, why would so many biogen-ers be signing on, even at the RBD level ?

NObody is "signing on" and Biogen is a collection of hacks and cast offs. This hoax of a expansion is laughable......this is a band aid temporary job at best...if you are out of work, then take a look with caution, but with the news today the truth is starting to leak out, not surprising for most.
