What is the process when reported to OEC?

Do not file a complaint with OEC until you have retained counsel with a competent law firm that specializes in healthcare/medicare fraud and employment law.

Be prepared for the company & their sleazy fat about to be disbarred lawyers to TRY to destroy your life and reputation. Stick to your guns, go with your gut and go after those mothers*ckers.

From an insider who saw the OP. The Company welcomes formal complaints that have merit. That's how company's correct issues improve fiscal performance / ROI. Be forewarned, however, that frivolous complaints are generally considered violation of company P&P and conceivably could lead to a PIP.. So make sure your 'ducks are lined up'. Good luck, and recommend you also line up a recruiter if you proceed.

The way to handle it varies depending on where you’re located and what the matter involves. In the U.S, the PCC ( Pharmaceutical Compliance Committee) will conduct investigation. Outside the U.S, the BCC (Business Conduct Committee) will be handling it. Both report to the CECO. Make sure you address some of your concerns on company email as well. Once they are on the server they are there forever and can be used as evidence in future cases.

Excellent point. The Company automatically archives ALL email / texting, period. ANYTHING you put in writing will be used against you ! Company HR lawyers have full time 'data miners' who sift thru all emails using exotic search tools. Also all your social media posts. If for instance you engaged in 'water cooler' gossip in company email / texting / social media you are a sitting duck! So proceed carefully if you file a complaint and make sure you have other employment lined up, hopefully in another field. Companies love to make examples of these rats.

YA NO SH*T SHERLOCK! That's how companies minimize the legal risk they are exposed to by their incompetent and IDIOT management who break laws and commit fraud! The short bus has finally arrived!!

And "frivolous complaints" RARELY happen in ALL aspects of crime & law- NO ONE wants to jeopardize their career, reputation, and their family's economic livelihood by being a whistleblower...BUT THANK YOU for the lecture on having your "ducks lined up"= true signs of the outdated old school boys club/Pharma management with your post old timer!
