Tired of getting formulary updates and seeing that mid year many managed care companies are dropping Xiidra from formulary. How are we supposed to hit goals or think about contest money when we see this weekly. WTF is going on and why won’t our ZDs address this?

I’m on a conference call this morning with my ZD. He’s telling us our Q2 goals are tough. He’s telling us we will also have increases in Q3 and Q4. Isn’t that when we will see generic intrusion? The Dry Eye Share of voice is dropping since our friends at Allergan are no longer in the game. What will happen to managed care coverage when a generic arrives? Bernie, your salary pays you to deal with these obstacles. If there were no challenges, they could hire people straight out of college to do this job. Your bonus is just that, a bonus. It rewards people for exceeding the objectives and is impossible to make it perfect for everyone. There are way too many variables but I wouldn't expect you to understand that. Based on your message, you clearly don't have the intellect to be doing this job. OBU isn't the place for you.
