OBU fall meeting

I mean, let's be real. They rented out THE most famous club in Miami Beach and brought in FLO RIDA, complete with open bar and "nightclub" attire. Vegas really shouldn't be that big of an issue, especially when the OBU set the bar high to begin with on the fun meter. And then the following meeting was at the Tuna and the Ugly Duckling. Big ouch.

It's the negative optics of Vegas for stakeholders. No pharma companies are doing meetings anymore in Vegas. Negative perceptions. The old days it was fine but not today where everyone is complaining about pharma prices. That's the reality, folks.

I have not heard a peep about a fall meeting, sounds like another CP fiction.

Their issue with Vegas certainly isn't the price. My old company always had meetings in LV because they got great deals on hotels and the flights are relatively cheap and easy for most people. We also went to Anaheim a lot and now I regret bitching about it after these Dallas and Orlando repeats. Anaheim at least had nice hotels and we could extend our trip to other CA cities.

Orlando and Dallas are the freaking worst
