Nuvectra?

I have read this thread and cannot believe the lack of fundamental knowledge that you guys display. Here's what you should now:
1. Nuvectra has a battery that run at 22V up to 26V. All others run 9-12V. Unbelievable difference here because without voltage you cannot achieve fidelity. Fidelity = tolerability by patients.
2. Nuvectra has almost crystal clear fidelity - none of the others come even close!!
3. Nuvectra has capability of delivering pulse widths up to 1500microseconds which can be tolerated by patients. All others have difficulty because the fidelity is poor and above 750 causes discomfort / ventral stimulation. Higher pulse widths = more delta fibers being captured in the dorsal column = greater pain relief.
4. Nuvectra's burst is 4 channel, independently controlled with immediate repolarization. SJM's is a standardized 5 pulse burst with a long latency phase at the end - restricts what you can do with it (one trick pony).
5. Nuvectra has capability of 50K high frequency but only turns it up to 2K.
6. Nuvectra has full body MRI (conditional) at 1.5 Tesla for 24 contacts. MDT, BSX only 16 contacts.
7. Nuvectra leads are spring-wound. Tested to 6 million bends without breaking - other companies leads all break at 175-200K bends.
8. Nuvectra's leads are the only ones with stretch to limit migration.
9. Nuvectra has the largest array of perc leads in the industry.

So when Barolat is switching almost all of his new cases to Nuvectra, North is doing the same, Slavin is doing the same, Soin is doing the same .....etc. It says something. NEVRO has a 40% failure rate across the board and does not report it! St. Jude, Medtronics and Boston are just more of the same ...crap! I'm not saying that the other companies are not going to do well, but the company with the most growth potential is Nuvectra. Their SNS platform is waaay better than MDT and is also MRI compatible. Also, wait until their thin film technology comes out for DBS - it's going to kick ass. BTW I do not work for Nuvectra, I implant them so I know WTF I'm talking about.

Funny, Dr North isn’t Still implanting I thought. Hasn’t for years?? Soin is the only stud mentioned here. The others are all bought and paid for

"Nevro has a 40% failure rate across the board and does not report it". Then where does that 40% come from (your Nuvectra Rep)? "Nuvectra has capability of 50K high frequency but only turns it up to 2K" And why do you think that is? I'm guessing you are heavily invested in Nuvectra since ("BTW i do not work for Nuvectra, I implant them so i know WTF I'm talking about"). I'd suggest you get your "facts" from the Nuvectra Sales and Mktg Dept before you come on the board and bloviate. You have ZERO cred!

Not really. Nuvectra would constantly need to recharge it if they ran that power. Having that much power is a marketing ploy. Patients hate recharging! Medtronic actually has more power. So come again.

2. Nuvectra has almost crystal clear fidelity - none of the others come even close!!

Do you have non biased study to back up this claim?

Studies have already shown that a high pulse width does not = greater pain relief. Marketing ploy to use because Nuvectra is the only one that has that pulse width. In addition, you can create more efficent programs for patients because Patients dont want to recharge! If your patient is not going to recharge or has difficulty or hates it, why do that to them?

4. Nuvectra's burst is 4 channel, independently controlled with immediate repolarization. SJM's is a standardized 5 pulse burst with a long latency phase at the end - restricts what you can do with it (one trick pony).

Um, that would not be a burst but just a fast program. Why would someone even attempt that? Ask Nuvectra what their refractory period is on every channel.

5. Nuvectra has capability of 50K high frequency but only turns it up to 2K.

They may but I wonder why that is. I would believe most companies have the capability to but legally can not.

6. Nuvectra has full body MRI (conditional) at 1.5 Tesla for 24 contacts. MDT, BSX only 16 contacts.

Nope, they still are not approved.

7. Nuvectra leads are spring-wound. Tested to 6 million bends without breaking - other companies leads all break at ...

why are they breaking then?

8. Nuvectra's leads are the only ones with stretch to limit migration.

Which makes them more weak and break.

9. Nuvectra has the largest array of perc leads in the industry. Marketing spin. They have 12 and 8s. Marketing to make their spacing like BSX and the others.

I won’t go into talking about doc motivation here. I wouldn’t trust a breakable lead in any of my patients body especially the delicate head. Why do you?

Nuvectra rules!!

I rarely post because of the responses one gets. I have implanted all of the systems available - basically an early adopter. You do not have to believe anything that I have posted about the capabilities of Nuvectra - verify before believing. 3-4 years from now, when high pulse width is recognized as the best way to capture delta fibers, I hope that you look back at my post and realize that you were wrong. Also, I stand by everything that I posted, including the 50K (Nuvectra cannot claim it because of patent infringement from NEVRO) is all factually correct. If you are a competent neuromodulator, you should know about the specific capabilities of all of these platforms. There is no platform available today that comes even close to the capabilities of Nuvectra. Lumina remains the only technology that exceeds Nuvectra's capabilities, and it is a software issue.

When did they get FDA approved for MRI?

Please go to the Nuvectra website and look at the PDF of the investor conference presentation. Seriously, if you guys are in the industry then spend some time to learn for yourselves, instead of mindlessly spouting the information that your bosses feed you. Nuvectra is currently the most capable ASIC on the market and their leads are legions ahead of anyone else's. They are a small company, but have quadrupled in size over the past year. Any thoughts that they are fly-by-night are incorrect. If you are a looking for a job in neuromodulation, I cannot see a downside.

You begging on here again chicken shit device clown ?

Because they all want to come to BSX where we get things done. ‘18 is going be our best year yet! No where else to go once you leave the primitive offerings of SJM, MDT and NVR. Come to the future over here, we would love to have you be a part of our success!!
