My friend, Algostim was developed over ten years ago - about the same time as the first iPhone. When Greatbatch first started talking about it in 2013, the system had been under development for 5 years. Algostim is old technology. You can look at the externals and see this is true. There's nothing in the pipeline from the company that's been publicly disclosed at least that suggests there's been any new development or product improvements at all. In 3 years, Nuvectra isn't going to be a player - much less a major one.
Not surprising given that Drees was at the helm. ANS had little product innovation in the 2000s but luckily the lack of competition and what appears to be great reps still brought a ton of revenue. The world is very different now.
