I'm so sick a tired of Novo management bragging about never downsizing. You do worse than downsizing. Let's "transfer" an employee to a territory they have to fly to. What? Oh, they can move instead of travelling? The market is crap for selling a house right now. Is Novo offering relocation assistance? If you're going to downsize, then downsize. Pay out the packages and do right by your employees. Enough of this optimizing and displacement bullshit.

I will have to fight not to roll my eyes at the crap you spew at the next POA meeting. Any loyalty you once had from your employees is now gone. Bravo.
 




Firstly, I feel badly for all novo reps. This company sucks the life out of you. I left 2 years ago and I'm so glad I did. I heard about the mess going on at Novo and wanted to hear what everyone was saying. Just know that life is so much better on the other side. Good luck to everyone who was "displaced". Honestly, be glad it happened to you because you will be so much better off in the long run. Believe me.

Every single person who tried to bring up this shit for the past 2 years was told by the douchebag management that "Novo is so different", and "Novo never (insert BS here)".

Wish they would've screwed DBMs a little more, but I guess Novo needs them to keep the morale up.

if anyone believes one thing from any ELT, or RBD, or DBM you deserve what you get next time (including myself).

Yah I def didn't sign up for this territory size. I have 2 children and theres zero way I can be accessible if something were to happen to them at school and Im 3 hours away and cannot pick them up.
When I joined Novo, my accessibility was given. What I was willing to do and not willing to do was made clear.
I agreed to do the work I was hired to do. Im not sitting here whining and hoping something will change, I realize I will now be the one who has to go change. Its betraying what they've done to so many people.

I plan to interview. I plan to leave. Im just sad to do it bc I honestly liked my job and I worked hard to do well. I have no choice other than to do well. I alone provide for my children. It is up to me. Im not the only one in this boat.

Its heartless Novo. RBDs were given the sign off on this? Why not let DBMs weigh in. They could've fixed a lot of the mistakes that were made in this process by simple input.

Im just shocked. Honestly, just shocked, sickened, and let down by it all.

Don't forget to lay some of th blame on us, the kool-aid drinkers that believed that Novo never laid off. 3 or 4 years ago there was a cat-fight on here, when someone predicted that we would have to follow other companies and pare down. This undercover HR dweeb flamed the crap out of anyone that said anything about ANAJ and ELT being less than perfect.

I hope that they got clipped. And ditto anyone else that convinced people to stay, when we had other options.

Sadly, because of senior management mismanagement that world now includes worrying about how to care for our families and stress about supporting the ones we love and the lifestyle we've built. No one is looking for a handout. We are venting, we are angry. So again, fuck you if you think we are just whining. Clearly you are one that didn't get the call and from your lack of empathy you are making a good salary here while probably living in your parents basement with no responsibilities. Douche.

When you start with 3000 and end with 3000, you didn't downsize. Talk to someone who has actually been downsized and you'll understand what that's all about. Last, blame whomever you want, but if you listened on any of the conference calls, this was all HR and Legal - no one in Sales leadership had input about who was placed and displaced. If you're looking to place blame on how shitty this has been handled, look no further than the new VP of HR.

Except for they will have this in phases and you won't end up as 3000 who started maybe 3000 of cheap DCA labor......they will lay off just enough to not have to give the minimum 3 month severance when you have a mass lay-off...........what they are looking to do is have a mass exodus!!! Nobody is saying that Novo was immune to this.......but the way they have done it.................just BRILLIANT!!
