Not a good DM clearly. Unacceptable to do that to your reps. She must be questioning her own lack of skill and singling others out. New management trying to prove a point maybe? grounds for her to be evaluated eventually I'm sure. Not a good situation here.

LC needs to be put on a management PIP. I've only heard bad things and I'm not even on that side of the country! Northeast must not be the place to work. High turnover and poor management on both district and regional account!
 






Are you all idiots? LC has over 30 years of oncology experience and can out detail any of you when it comes to clinical. She is happily married.....She inherited a few bad reps who should have been pip'ed a year ago but no one was brave enough to do it..

It's clear that she is crass, unprofessional, disgusting, and dumber than dirt. You're commending her for putting people on PIP's rather than coaching them and helping them get better? This is reason why Genoptix has such high turnover. Who would want to work for someone that doesn't try to retain her employees. I feel bad for the people in her district because they'll never get better. But what more would you expect from Genoptix. Churn and burn!

Two great hires. Neither had prior management experience. One is despised by many and the other one is fired for falsifying expense reports. What can you say other than great job by upper management.


NE consists of Philly and New England too. Not just NY. Agreed SG is one if the good ones. The other 2 suck. Or should I say other 1. Churn and burn more to leave soon

The sad thing is.....most of those reps prob weren't even here 1year ago, to even be put on a PIP. Churn and burn baby! LC is a bad DM, would never want to work for her. Detailing doesn't mean experience managing and to "detail someone under the table" but put an entire team on PIP's is embarrassing - for her. The poor reps who are working hard like we all do with poor coaching. Bad management can make or break a team.
 






Who here is a DM? Probably not one of you, yet you all are the experts on "How" a new manager should behave. LC is not acting in a vacumn, her direction to PIP 2 people on her team came from above. If any of you have been in sales for any length of time, you know that you do what you are told. Why should she coach two poor performing reps? You coach them out...As for the reps having less than 1 year experience, yes at GXDX, but not in sales. They are experienced reps, they were hired to sell, not wait a few years and then sell. And the idiot who is holding her feet to the fire for saying "colon rectal", go out and talk to a gastro specialist and ask them how it is said, for you will find out there is many ways to state the disease.

You coach reps when they are not given the tools needed to succeed. We all know this company does not provide that at times. Sad to see the lack of care and effort after all the money we pay out for retention bonuses. Why even pay out when lower management isn't even willing to support their reps, but instead "coach them out". This type of behavior seems careless from her standpoint, and if this is her responding then shame on you. As managers, we coach our reps in, not out of the company. Never have I heard of such nonsense. Why spend the budget on useless retention bonuses when we have major management problems like this here.
