I was fooled into thinking Rob was the cause of all this recklessness. I have since wised up and hold Scott 100% accountable for the lie, which is Castle. Though Rob is a tool and the source of much misery, the owner and CEO is at fault. Scott has his agenda and puts uneducated, snake oil salesman in leadership so they won't question, or, comprehend the magnitude of these unethical policies.

I can hardly wait to see the grand ending whether I am involved with this company or not. If a global sales company management acted like this the board of directors would throw some people out on their can. I have seen several upper managent get fired for a lot less. Beating up your sales reps to motivate them doesn't motivate good sales people to sell for you. We just get more motivated about working for someone else. Thusly, loosing momentum in your sales force. Whom ever is directing this sales force, according to what has been written and accepted as great managent practices, has absolutely no clue what they are doing. You don't have to agree with me and my post, just go read a little in The business managent section. ITS ANOUT THE MONEY, STUPID. Not all ego trip!

Salesperson are not hourly employed and hourly employees are not salespersons.

I was one of the original reps w Castle and then left with most of the sales force before Scott D. went off his rocker. With regard to PTO, we never requested it we just took it and our DVPs knew about it and never reported it. This was back when the DVP's actually respected their reps and treated them professionally.

Ummm....Seriously! Everyday is PTO for most of the sales team. We just don't tell anyone! Why tell your DVP when you can pretty much take PTO and not work and no one even knows!!!

I agree. You never know when you will get a break. I seriously doubt Castle will treat you bad or hostile if you are bringing in some serious accounts. No one runs off a money maker unless thet have another agenda. If you are a "Money Rep" your are very marketable and every company would love to have you. If I was the CEO and a manager jammed a Money Rep I would fire the manager. I have actually seen it happen. Managers are very replaceable. Especially some here at Castle. What, Castle gonna fire it's reps again and let these managers try again! How stupid would that be if you actually wanted to create a successful sale team.

Make this company some money and I bet you can pretty much do what you want.

EXAMPLE If you have 1000 samples or more being sent in by clinics monthly you have some stroke. I'm not going to tell up what thats worth as a 10-99 because I know you will never go out on your own. But those who have the sand know exactly what I'm talking about. Lots of $cash$ with no micro management. Castle would be absolutely of their rocker to run off a salesrep that is knocking down those numbers.

It's happened quite a few times. The DVP's still manage their own accounts and the accounts for those that leave, should they choose not to replace them.

Unorthodox? Violating laws, harassing reps, discrination...unorthodox? Yes, Castle attempted to pay me off a settlement and wanted to me to sign a confidentiality agreement so my suit couldn't be mentioned.

FYI, all settlements contain confidentiality agreements, so no big discovery there. If in fact Castle was violating laws, harassing reps (victim mentality) &/or discriminating against anyone, I would expect to see or hear a lot more evidence of this with complaints filed by big agencies (state &/or federal agencies) not merely cafepharma rhetoric... A simple Google search of any lab on this board will give factual information about real lawsuits (as opposed to the many imaginary lawsuits this forum would have us believe in). A good example would be Calloway labs (since a poster from Calloway was cheeky enough to participate on this board).
Anyway... You said attempted. So since we are to assume you didn't take a settlement, we should be able to find your lawsuit filed in a court rather than merely a complaint that someone mistreated you & so you want Castle to "show you the money".?
