Last time I checked, we were salespeople, hired because of our sales success in previous jobs. Salespeople are motivated by money and incentives. Upper management is trying to pretend we are not salespeople anymore but contradicts themselves because they want big sales numbers. I get why we need to "change" being viewed as the bad pharma industry pushing our products but call it competences, goals, CBS, CAS, or whatever and at the end of the day our job is to SELL SELL SELL
