No more President council and Quota trips...thoughts?





Went on our Rewards trip and it was horrible. So classless and proved how clueless management really is. After traveling all day we went to a reception where they gave each attendee two tickets for two drinks and for appetizers we had popcorn and graham cracker sandwiches with chocolate slice and marshmallow. Are you f'ing kidding me? How embarrassing for us to bring our spouses/guests only to be shown how little Lilly thinks of us.

Most of MHS employees need to move on...they don't earn the salary they are paid. He gave you all exactly what you deserve.

Be glad you still have a job. If you want to complain, take yourself somewhere else and see if you can work so little for the pay you already have. This is the entitlement that many have and probably why trips need to change.

No matter if you agree, leadership had the opportunity to motivate and inspire top performers selected to go on this celebratory Quota trip. Lilly invested good money in the facility, travel and taking employees out of the field. Why not invest a little effort to ensure the one group function is nice and achieves purpose of trip which is to instill a sense of appreciation for those winning trips based on their top performance? Give me a break... the execution of the trip was sloppy and it was apparent to all they don't give a sh** which is fine. They turned something that was supposed to be a celebration into a sobering reminder on how little they appreciate our hard work.

Quota and area achievement trips were such a pain in the ass. To force-fun-socialize with people that were pretty dreadful in meetings (let alone "vacays")-all I can say is...show me the money!!

Watch out for the pint sized, doe eyed, newly MBA certified fakes that smile while looking deep in your eyes telling you what a good person you are as they prepare to do all they can to undermine you for one of the few remaining seats on the USS Lilly.

Nothing changes, it is embedded in the Lilly culture. People who get promoted are professional politicians and incompetent at core elements of jobs.

Our quarterly payouts are far below other pharmaceutical companies, now no more quota trips! I hope they start raising our base salaries soon! This company SUCKS big time in their R&D too! Nothing in our pipeline too!
