Territory level quotas are a thing of the past. Team quotas are to be announced as well as more weighting for cvm and manager evaluations. No more being ranked versus your peers. Maybe now we will focus more on doing what's right for the patient.
Are you Serious? Spoken like a true brainwashed flock member. You can listen to all the spin you want. This is simply a way to cut costs. Sounds like you are low performer and always have a reason why you didn't hit your numbers and why this is a "better" system.
what a bunch of BS! - You can still do what is right for the patient and the doctor and still hit or exceed your numbers.. It is called Sales!! It doesn't matter what type of sales you are in -- you need to meet the customer where they are.. build trust-focus on a positive outcome-know that your drug isn't always the correct choice for every patient-stay on the goals and agenda of the customer.. It isn't that tough!!
This new system is just like a little kid's Tee ball team... Everybody get's a trophy! Anybody that is all for this new "Bonus" Structure is either a kissass, a brainwashed idiot, a low performing non-working dead weight employee who can now "Hide" even more, or is a card carrying communist.
The Other Bonus segments are totally subjective -- up to someone elses discretion which means -- You have no control over your own bonus. Managers will be given a small bonus bucket and will probably be incentivized to not use it all. These are gonna be a couple of tough next couple years especially with no products making it to market. This is away for the company to stay cash strong.. and continue to "stick it" to the sales force.
They know that Top Performers and Top business mined people will see through this and probably jump ship. That is exactly what the company wants. - Those Top Performers and Business minded folks probably have a higher salary. This new incentive plan does a lot of dirty work. - Less money paid out... Less leverage for Reps to make a case for promotion and more pay. and will motivate higher paid reps to leave the company so they can fill the vacancy with a brainwashed flock member or bring in a person that they can pay a smaller salary to.
Not much has really changed other than weighting when it comes to the manager position or higher.. Managers were pretty much always paid at the District Performance level.
It would be nice to know who provided feedback and suggestions into this plan. probably no top performer... probably young dumb employees who would just say anything to land in the good graces of corporate and maybe get an associate role.
