Are there really reps that aren’t at the pool at least 3 day a week this time of year? Feels like a teacher schedule; summers off.

"This time of year"? Remember that for reps from Florida, AZ, NM and SoCal, "pool weather" is year-round.
Conversely, for reps that like to ski and live in mountain states, season ski passes require a day or two during the week to hit the slopes and get our money's worth.

Don’t think for 1 minute they don’t know what we do/don’t do in the field! They know that the vast majority of our day is bullshit, and they are fine with that! What are they going to do about it? Not one damn thing because they can’t fire everyone and they NEED US! My manager is worse than we are. Comes in at lunch, goes over the sales reports that nobody looks at, and we might make a milk run call and he’s on his way to the hotel. Sometimes I am forced to go to dinner with this idiot and act like I am engaged. They act the same way too! All one big facade! Next morning we meet for breakfast, kill a couple of hours, make 2 milk run calls and they are out of here! What a total waste of money and time!
