Oh good, Duane has a friend!

Follow up questions - are the hundreds of reps who think Duane is a pompous, incompetent asshole all "stupid reps"?

Are all the reps who gave up because there are no bonuses anymore "stupid reps"?

Are all the reps who tried for the first year, opened a bunch of new accounts, but don't make any money because everybody else in their district quiet-quit on day one "stupid reps"?

Go ask assbrain those questions for us & report back . . .

Truth. It’s the one thing that nobody in management wants to see. If they did, then those responsible for the mess would have to take accountability for their actions (or lack there of). Way too many levels of incompetence at Novartis. Most of them are in CV.
 








You fail to grasp the obvious - generics/biosimilars typically aren’t dirt cheap when they hit the market. It will be at least 6 months possibly even a year before they are dirt cheap. No idea about entresto but that’s what I have experienced over the years. Of course insurance companies will push for generic eventually

Patients and pharmacies will still DEMAND/WANT the initial overpriced generics b/c of lower cost to them, even though the PBMs and insurance loos money dispensing the initial generics. Again, patients and pharmacies will want this initial generic due to lower cost to them, esp the seniors!

The PBMs will still make mad $ during the initial generic period due to rebates the brand pays them.

Once the brand contracts expire, generic utilization will grow exponentially.

When a generic enters the market place the end is in place.

Yes. I busted my ass setting up so many accounts in little hospitals for the last year and a half, which the cv reps immediately claimed 70% credit and now my manager consistently points out “it’s a team goal.” My family barely saw me and I was distracted by work when they did. Never have made that “launch bonus” that was promised or I earned. Should be the first one in line for promotions based on Leqvio sales, but can’t even get a pat on the back, let alone a promotion. Just a swift reminder that my whole team gets credit when I start talking about all my accounts. I have been a STUPID STUPID rep indeed. Duly noted. Dialing it back.

My territory can be merged with the neighboring territory and I can handle it alone. Going from 4 reps to 1. Not enough accessible offices to warrant this sales force.
LOL or maybe YOU will not be The Rep when the dust settles. There will be no logical rationale for who goes and who stays except the survivor will be gone in 12-18 months anyway.
 








Let me get this straight.. you destroyed the CV team and have little to no sales with a major launch and you get rewarded by going to the rare disease division ??

no wonder the culture here is in the garbage
