It is a joke. Don't listen to anything about this shit. The company is crumbling now and in no position to be acquiring another product. If another product was added right now with all the challenges of what is going on with OFIRMEV, everyone will leave regardless. Why would anyone want a new product right now? No one does. They act like it is a good thing. In fact, it would be a bad thing, especially with the name Mallinckrodt attached to it. If the company was smart, they better learn how to maintain the OFIRMEV business and stop the loss before thinking about anything else. If someone is up for a new product, there are so many job opportunities right now that it is no problem finding a new job.

He thinks that if he says something new is coming out then it will give people hope and they will stay. The mass exodus is coming soon, everyone knows it, he's just trying to protect the company from it.

Exactly! We all shake our heads when people like JD bring up a new product like that is a good thing LOL. Why would that be a good thing? More responsibility killing ourselves and having to try to sell another Mallinckrodt product is a recipe for disaster, especially if it is a pharmaceutical product. Do you think anyone would help to support another product that has Mallinckrodt's name attached to it? Hell no.
 












What is amazing to me is how many of my peers and customers are rooting for the company to fail ( i am not). On the other hand, you have upper management still hoping everyone stops talking about and or forgets the disastrous price increase. To be clear, they are not forgetting. We have the Scarlet Letter on our chest.(I know, too dramatic) For as much as we trumpet quality and pain improvement we fail to realize (admit)the millions of patients who have been negatively impacted by our price increase. How many patients are missing out on what was becoming standard of care. Would MNK correct it if it was really about making money, the patient, safety and quality scores? Maybe it's just for the money.

EXACTLY. If they are still after that ridiculously horrible suture company called zipline, what a disaster that would be. Unfortunately, the leadership here is just so sad and poor. The thought process is to buy anything, even if it is shit, to deflect away from the obvious that they made a horrible, company-ruining, greedy price-increasing decision on OFIRMEV. Someone just posted we have a "scarlet letter" on our chests is right. This is very accurate. Every single day is a horrible fight and makes this job sickenly unpleasant. If they were to ever add a product right now, it would just completely kill OFIRMEV business. In addition, no one will stay. We just lost the whole MSL division. That pretty much says everything. I also agree with the other comment as well. Why does Jimmy DiPuppet keep bringing up new product as if that is a good thing????????? No one wants a new product here.

It is just all about the money. The drug was profitable at the old price. How many meetings have we now gone to with MT or MM on stage saying their decision to increase the price was a good one? I can say that I heard that countless times. In my eyes they are no different than the unethical pharmacists we have to deal with every single day. Their money grubbing move literally have cost each and every sales rep significant bonus losses. Liken it to anything you want, but the bottom line is their decision basically took significant money out of each sales rep's pocket. It literally is like they made everyone work for free for several months. It really is/was that bad.
At minimum, if this company had any remote sense of doing the right thing, an apology should go out to each employee as well as an extra bonus check for the significant personal money loss due to their actions as well as serving as an apology for making this one of the worst working environments in the industry. We were all making good money here but not anymore. I happen to know that two RBD's and at least three managers will be putting in their notice very soon. This will be just the beginning. Has anyone kept tabs of everyone that has been quitting? I think we can all agree that most are shocked when they realize the majority of the company sales employees are new. So many quit each week, but of course the company doesn't want you to know this. Fortunately, there are several good opportunities all opening up very soon. Everyone is just temporarily buying their time right now.
 
























Heard from people pretty close to the top that the new product is being announced this week. I heard it going to be big. Finally, waiting out the bad times is going to payoff.

Ok. You're the same idiot who posted the last 3 consecutive messages. Go get a life. Here is a fact. No one wants a new product, so stop making it out like it would be a game changer. We have enough on our plates right now. In addition, everything they have been looking at has been shitty. If there was an outstanding blockbuster drug out there, Mallinckrodt would lose out on that bid.
