Whats up with all the backorders? No hep locks, vanco, mvi. Thought I might find some answers here? another Alabama pharmacy director told me about this website and I saw this. We wish he never quit but his manager, we called him howdy doody he would visit us when Ronnie went on vacation askiong us about the rep. We told him we liked him and he was one of our better drug reps. Who would want to work for a boss like that? Our buyer said he was in Europe. Whats up with all the backorders Abbott ppl?

Speaking of good people... does anyone know what happened to the senior account executive that had the North Alabama territory?

I believe that is our good buddy GP. He wanted to get rid of the representative in that territory so he could hire his friend. He hired his friend at an senior account executive level with nothing but previous pharma sales experience. She is actually a pretty sharp gal. Now they are best buddies. She is ten times smarter then him but Ronnie probably saw the light and left. He doesn't even manage the district. One of his reps does everything except for showing up at managers meetings.

Howdy Doody how funny...that's his older manager David.
6 months before RP left his largest account wanted to move from VHA to FCoop in Tampa.
The MAE in Florida signed them to FCoop and also lowered the hospitals pricing on individual contracts without keeping him in the loop. She also had to move the account from VHA to Med Assets because FCoop had no contract and was also haggling with Baxter. The hospitals pricing went up because the MAE never presented the deal properly and Med Assets would not let the hospital free. Hospital got mad. Really mad.
Enter Howdy Doody, who had tried to get rid of RP during the layoff but was overruled. While RP was on vacation, DM, MAE and GP met the customer. Guess who they through under the bus? The local rep with Area P's blessing. He found out when he came back from vacation. He turned his notice 2 weeks later. Spoke with him 2 months ago. He is living in France. Account went with Baxter, thru FCoop, a year later.

Sounds as if things at Hospira are getting better ... LOL

I enjoy telling people what it was like working at Hospira. Nothing but the truth!

The best career move I ever made ... moving on past Hospira! Life is good.

Ahh yes, a smart reply from a top notch Hospira VP no doubt, throw out a "loser" comment to add validity to the "slackards" comment. Definately a "subject matter expert". LOL

It really is funny to hear people talk about Hospira. Keep maximizing that shareholder wealth ... err I mean wealth for the top guys ... err I mean pursue a multinational strategy ... err I mean a global strategy ... it really is funny to listen to.

Just keep your eyes on the bouncing ball.
