New positions hiring delay?

I heard they are no longer hiring many or any external people. They had a layoff last week and they merged many of those they cut into the new positions they were interviewing external people for. Most of the positions were filled internally from what i was told and those that weren't will be covered by a contract sales force that they just hired. Sounds like the company is on shaky ground. Might be for the best that they didn't take any external candidates.

Some displaced FRM’s took 3831 openings. Openings not taken by them or where the geography doesn’t fit will be offered first week of February. Interviews in some of those territories may continue until then if the DBL doesn’t have a candidate or two they like yet.

Come on over baby whole lotta shaking goin on!

2nd wave start in Feb, confirmed, barring any new covid guidelines.
only hiring a very small number of reps due to lay offs in other divisions. We are also still waiting on FDA approval. Now I'm hearing the launch may be delayed until July. I'm thinking this is going to be a horrible drug to promote.

Good reps will do great selling this new drug, shitty reps will struggle, especially early on. Most of the NE region will fail due to poor managers and week sales force. Just the facts, Jack!

ARISTADA - how viable is the TBM position for this injectable version? Acceptance and MCO coverage? I have 4 years neuro experience, 12 years pharma - what's my going rate for the company?
Will appreciate any and all honest feedback

Aristada is a good product but it has not come even close to what we had hoped at launch. I think average base pay for Aristada rep is between $125k to a high end of 145K to start.

Good luck!

Does anybody have any idea how many candidates they’re sending to each interview round?
They had a restructure about 3 weeks ago. An entire sales team was cut and they are now being moved into the expansion positions that were posted and that they started interviewing for. In addition to that they have had the approval delayed. I've heard that they are not going to hire many if any external candidates anymore and that they have also hired a contract sales team so it looks like we are out of luck. I just wish they'd tell me the truth instead of leaving me hanging. Not sure if I'd even want to work there anymore after they way they have been stringing me along.

I’ll tell you the truth as I have on here already:

Hospital reps And some FRM’s were rolled into expansion positions. Offers will he made to external candidates first week of February. If an infernal was rolled into your territory, you should have been told by now.

Some DBL’s will continue to interview until February. Some won’t. If you’re a top candidate, they ll probably keep you in the loop until then.

the contract sales force has nothing to do with these positions. Contract positions will be virtual only positions.

No one will be told they got the job or didn’t until February. Unless there is another delay then it will be later. Currently, there is no indication of further delay.
