New management

Why do people say stupid stuff like someone is a 'mean girl'. You wouldn't ever say something like that about a guy. Strong women get labeled as 'mean' - this is what continues to push women down in leadership. just stop it, you're hurting women everywhere when you make stupid comments like that.

What’s stupid is you taking four attempts to post. Are you in management?

FYI, firing people doesn't make someone a bad leader - firing dead weight is actually a sign of a good leader.

You are correct, firing dead weight is important in any organization, thus with your logic that would mean firing almost all of the upper/middle management and a good part of the sales force! According to Stack, the sales force only works around 30 hours a week and the managers fly around collecting Hilton points and frequent flyer mileage.

"According to Stack, the sales force only works around 30 hours a week and the managers fly around collecting Hilton points and frequent flyer mileage."

DS has been bashing the sales team for YEARS, yet he does little/nothing to oust them and build a more competent team. If he really believed what he always says about them, he'd have cleared house long ago. It just makes no sense for a CEO to constantly degrade an entire department (publically) but not make moves to fix the problem. He clearly likes to complain but not act. It's actually kind of bizarre.

Does Stack need to ask Poppe first?
